Recurrent Psoriasis of 10 Years Treated in 1 year With Homeopathy

Psoriasis is a common, long-term (chronic) disease in which skin cells build up and form scales and itchy, dry patches. A 39-year-old male patient Mr. A. K. (PIN: 48258) approached Life Force Homeopathy’s Thane clinic on 29^th May 2022 with complaints of Psoriasis.

Chief Complaints:

He was suffering from recurrent episodes of Psoriasis for 10 years.

The patient had psoriasis on both the palms, fingers, left elbow, knees, and right ankle. He used to experience itching, bleeding after scratching sometimes, and scaling. His symptoms used to increase every winter with a thick, hyper-pigmented patch. He had taken steroids for 6 months.

Associated Disease:

The patient had allergic rhinitis for 10 years.

Family’s Medical History:

The patient’s father had paralysis. His sister had arthritis, and his mother had cardiomyopathy.

Mental Sphere:

The patient was mild, gentle, clever, reserved, and sad. The patient was a bank employee.

At Life Force:

In Lifeforce, a detailed case-taking was done. Dr. Rajesh Shah studied the entire case in detail and prescribed some homeopathic medicines and dietic changes to the patient. The patient was advised to stop all external applications of ointment.

Follow-Ups:

At the follow-up on 19^th July 2022, the patient was 20% better. His bleeding had reduced. His recovery from the lesions was improving. There was no spread. The cracks and cuts had reduced.

At the follow-up on 10^th September 2022, the patient was 50% better. No new spot had developed. No spread of the disease had occurred. He experienced itching occasionally at night.

At the follow-up on 22^nd October 2022, the patient was 80% better. His dryness of the skin had reduced. No itching or burning was affecting him. No new lesion had developed, and no spread of the disease was there.

At the follow-up on 10^th December 2022, the patient was 90% better. No spread of the disease had occurred. Always, in the winter, he used to suffer from flare-ups, but, this time, no complaints affected him even in winter. The patient healed. So, the treatment was stopped.

Conclusion:

At Life Force Homeopathy, the patient suffering from recurrent episodes of Psoriasis for 10 years with steroids was treated for a year solely with homeopathy He was advised to stop treatment after some days if no recurrence of the episode.
