A 46-year-old lady, Mrs. S. R. (PIN: 49006) was suffering from Psoriasis for 36 years. She came to Life Force for the treatment of her disease on 19th August 2022. There were erythrodermic patches present over her face, behind the ears, and scalp. She was experiencing severe itching and scaling in the lesions. Bleeding was also noticed after scratching. Also, she used to experience hair fall. She had been on steroids and Ayurvedic treatment earlier and had been in remission earlier, but, in the last 3 months, her condition had relapsed. Her psoriasis was progressing and severe in intensity for the last 3 months before approaching Life Force.
Her lesions were aggravated as she was going through menopause. She had also experienced aggravation in the summer season. When the patient approached us, she was already on Ayurvedic treatment for the last 5 years.
Physical Generals
The patient was following a vegetarian diet. Her appetite was average, and she had cravings for spicy food and sweets. Her thirst and perspiration were average. Her bowels were satisfactory, and she used to experience a bit of disturbed sleep. The patient was thermally hot.
Psychological Generals and Family Make-Up
The patient was a gentle and expressive lady having some irritability and frustration due to her health condition.
She was a fashion designer but had left her job after having kids. Her husband was an accountant. Her son was also an accountant, and her daughter was studying.
Self and Family’s Medical History
She was diagnosed with Thalassemia Minor during her pregnancy 13 years ago and was given iron supplements for the same. No other treatment was administered for it.
Her mother was Hypertensive and had Thalassemia trait, and her father had Cancer and Polycythemia Vera.

Follow-Ups

In October 2022, the patient experienced some aggravation in her condition as the weather was changing. New lesions had developed on her left elbow, left knee, and thigh. Dr. Shah changed her prescription after a thorough analysis.
In December 2022, the patient had experienced about 10% overall improvement. Her lesions on the face and behind the ears had reduced. The intensity of itching had also reduced.
In January 2023, the patient again observed some increase in the itching as there were changes in the weather that had caused increased dryness of the skin. The disease’s spread was controlled and no new eruptions had appeared.
In March 2023, the patient reported being better except for scaling on the scalp which was also not significant.
In April 2023, the patient reported patches behind the ears that had dried up. Also, the scaling had reduced.
In May 2023, the patient experienced a reduction in all the eruptions on the body. She was 90% better. The itching and scaling had vanished, and only post-inflammatory hypopigmentation was left.
In July 2023, the patient was almost free from the disease. There were no lesions present anywhere on her body, only the hypopigmentation was left.
In August 2023, the patient was stable with only hypopigmentation left. The patient was very happy with the treatment.
Conclusion
