Chronic Allergic Rhinitis Patient Found Solace With Homeopathy

Allergic Rhinitis:

It is an allergic response to allergens, such as pollen, dust, mites, molds, animal dander, etc., causing itchy watery eyes, sneezing, runny nose, cough, and headache.

Episodes of Allergic Rhinitis may occur seasonally or all year round. Diagnosis involves history taking, the examination of nasal passages, and, sometimes, skin testing.

Here is a case of Allergic Rhinitis that completely recovered with Homeopathy

A 17-year-old male patient, Mr. A. K. (PIN: 46560), visited Life Force Homeopathy to treat his complaints of Allergic Rhinitis on 23rd October 2021.

The patient had complaints of Allergic Rhinitis for 2-3 years. He presented with a runny nose, sneezing, and watery eyes. He had these complaints on & off earlier, but for one year, episodes were affecting him daily and would last for the entire day. His complaints were better in the open air and would increase in the closed room and early morning. The nose block was more at night while sleeping. Also, he had a dry cough for three weeks. He was allergic to dust and the change in weather. The patient took Tab Levocet 5 mg as and when required for 3-4 months.

Physical Generals:

The patient was a vegetarian. He had an average appetite and craving for fried food and sweets. H disliked green vegetables and fruits. His thirst was reduced. He could not tolerate the cold. His sleep was also good.

Psychological Make-Up:

The patient was very reserved, less talkative, very choosy, and selective. He was more mature for his age. He was very analytical and had an extreme fear of heights.

Family’s Medical History:

He had a family medical history of Allergic Rhinitis, as both his father and uncle had these complaints.

Follow-Ups:

On the first follow-up on 16th December 2021, the patient was experiencing episodes daily but he was feeling much better. Sneezing and watery eyes had reduced. Also, the nose block had reduced. A dry cough was still there in the morning and at night.

He had stopped Tab. Levocet.

On 9th February 2022, the patient said that he experienced episodes daily, but the sneezing and watery eyes had reduced. His nose block had increased at night on lying down; however, her cough had reduced.

On 30th March 2022, the patient said that he had only 1 or 2 episodes of sneezing and runny nose in the whole month, and he still had nose block at night & dry cough on & off.

On 19th May 2022, he said he was 80% better and had only 1 or 2 episodes of sneezing in the last two months. He had no nose block, no breathlessness, & no cough.

On 12th July 2022, the patient said he had only 1 episode in 2 months that lasted for two days.

On 7th September 2022, the patient said that he was ultimately better and had no major complaints now.
