Anxiety-Free Living with Homeopathic Care
Experiencing occasional anxiety is a normal part of life. However, people with anxiety disorders frequently have intense, excessive, and persistent worry and fear about everyday situations. Often, anxiety disorders involve repeated episodes of sudden feelings of intense anxiety and fear or terror that reach a peak within minutes (panic attacks). These feelings of anxiety and panic interfere with daily activities, are difficult to control, are out of proportion to the actual danger, and can last a long time. You may avoid places or situations to prevent these feelings. Symptoms may start during childhood or the teen years and continue into adulthood. Examples of anxiety disorders include generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety disorder (social phobia), specific phobias, and separation anxiety disorder. You can have more than one anxiety disorder. Sometimes anxiety results from a medical condition that needs treatment.
Common anxiety signs and symptoms include:
- Feeling nervous, restless, tense
- Having a sense of impending danger, panic doom
- Having an increased heart rate
- Breathing rapidly (hyperventilation)
- Sweating and Trembling
- Feeling weak or tired
- Trouble concentrating or thinking about anything other than the present worry
- Having trouble sleeping
- Experiencing gastrointestinal (GI) problems
- Having difficulty controlling worry
- Having the urge to avoid things that trigger anxiety
Several types of anxiety disorders exist:
- Agoraphobia is a type of anxiety disorder in which you fear and often avoid places or situations that might cause you to panic and make you feel trapped, helpless, or embarrassed.
- Anxiety disorder due to a medical condition includes symptoms of intense anxiety or panic that are directly caused by a physical health problem.
- Generalized anxiety disorder includes persistent and excessive anxiety and worry about activities or events, even ordinary, routine issues. The worry is out of proportion to the actual circumstance, is difficult to control, and affects how you feel physically. It often occurs along with other anxiety disorders or depression.
- Panic disorder involves repeated episodes of sudden feelings of intense anxiety and fear or terror that reach a peak within minutes (panic attacks). You may have feelings of impending doom, shortness of breath, chest pain, or a rapid, fluttering, or pounding heart (heart palpitations). These panic attacks may lead to worrying about them happening again or avoiding situations in which they've occurred.
- Selective mutism is a consistent failure of children to speak in certain situations, such as school, even when they can speak in other situations, such as at home with close family members. This can interfere with school, work, and social functioning.
- Separation anxiety disorder is a childhood disorder characterized by anxiety that's excessive for the child's developmental level and related to separation from parents or others who have parental roles.
- Social anxiety disorder (social phobia) involves high levels of anxiety, fear, and avoidance of social situations due to feelings of embarrassment, self-consciousness, and concern about being judged or viewed negatively by others.
- Specific phobias are characterized by major anxiety when you're exposed to a specific object or situation and a desire to avoid it. Phobias provoke panic attacks in some people.
- Substance-induced anxiety disorder is characterized by symptoms of intense anxiety or panic that are a direct result of misusing drugs, taking medications, being exposed to a toxic substance, or withdrawing from drugs.
- Other specified anxiety disorders and unspecified anxiety disorders are terms for anxiety or phobias that don't meet the exact criteria for any other anxiety disorders but are significant enough to be distressing and disruptive.
Causes
The causes of anxiety disorders aren't fully understood. Life experiences such as traumatic events appear to trigger anxiety disorders in people who are already prone to anxiety. Inherited traits can also be a factor.
CASE STUDY:
A 32-year-old male patient (Patient ID: 53337) was registered at Life Force Homeopathy Pimpri and began treatment for anxiety disorder in May 2024. He had been experiencing symptoms of anxiety disorder since 2023. During an attack, he displayed mood swings, impatience, restlessness, perspiration, and palpitations on any little occasion that aggravated or stimulated him to a greater degree. He also calms down on his own in 30 minutes. It has two to three episodes per week and lasts for 20 to 30 minutes once it starts. The intensity was moderate since they occasionally went completely crazy and kept talking about unrelated topics.
Always linked to little matters, he becomes irritated when people speak or suggest anything to him or even about everyday things. There were regular mood fluctuations, but before an attack, there was an increase in restlessness related to everyday tasks. During an attack, there was an increase in fidgetiness and a general feeling of having too many thoughts, even for casual conversation. No other signs of anxiety neurosis-like nausea, dizziness, mouth dryness, or delusions were present.
His case was studied in detail, and as per the case need to Dr. Rajesh Shah, some investigations were suggested and the medicines were individually specific to him, and diet was also discussed and shared.
Follow-ups:
Following the initial prescription follow-up, which was done on July 21, 2024, mood swings, impatience, and restlessness all decreased by 15% to 20%. He started going to work regularly and felt more at ease than before. He was only on homeopathic treatment, and he was not taking any other drugs. The date of the second follow-up was 6-9-2024.
Additional improvement of 40–50% in anxiety complaints was noted. There has not been an episode of anxiety in the past four months. He gets angry sometimes, but can now handle things.
When the third follow-up was conducted in November 2024 and on April 11, 2024, the symptoms of mood swings, restlessness, anxiety, and overcrowding of thoughts had decreased by an additional 60%. The patient was sleeping well.
The final follow-up was completed in January 2025. He was around 80–85% better overall. Restlessness, impatience, mood swings, and anxiety were all consistently better. He had not taken any additional medications since beginning treatment from Life Force.
Conclusion:
Thus, based on this particular case, we concluded that anxiety can be effectively treated with the right combination of homeopathic medications, professional advice, and changes in lifestyles. Anxiety can be effectively treated using homeopathic treatments, which are safe and gentle.
