Vitiligo Recovery in a Teen Boy Through Homeopathic Support
A 15-year-old boy (Patient ID: 40990) came with a complaint of vitiligo on the lower back, nose, and cheeks (below the left eye) in the last 2 years. The condition was stable in the last 6 months. He was taking allopathic medication for the same, including steroids.
Vitiligo is a long-term skin condition in which the body''s immune system attacks and destroys melanocytes, the cells responsible for producing melanin (the pigment that gives skin its color). This results in white or light-colored patches on the skin. These patches can vary in size and appear anywhere on the body, including the face, hands, and other areas frequently exposed to sunlight.
Physical Generals:
The patient is having a mixed diet with a craving for chicken, meat, and sweets. He doesn’t like vegetables. He has profuse sweat on his face and forehead.
Psychological and Family Make-Up:
Very shy and attached to parents, the patient is non-communicative
The patient is a student; the father is working in an MNC, and the mother is a housewife and has a younger brother.
Homeopathy is a complementary or alternative medical system that treats individuals with highly diluted substances, which are believed to stimulate the body’s natural healing processes. Follow-ups:
At the first follow-up on 9th Sep 2019, the patient reported that there was a mild improvement with the medicines, though he was using steroid medicines along with Life Force’s homeopathic medicines. On the little finger of his right hand, he saw repigmentation and stability in patches of other areas.
In Dec 2019, the patient showed remarkable changes with no spread of the patches, and the patches below the eyes were decreasing with re-repigmentation of the patches under the eyes.
The patient thanked Dr. Shah and the entire team for the successful treatment of their son in the short period, and the parents started believing firmly in homeopathy.
CONCLUSION:
Homeopathy is a holistic approach to treatment that aims to stimulate the body''s natural healing processes by using highly diluted substances.
