How Homeopathy Resolved a Complex Of Fibroadenoma Without Surgery
As women, we all know that regular breast examination is always advisable for early detection of any changes in the breast so that it can be easily treated in the early stage. Fibroadenoma and fibrocystic diseases are very common complaints of the breast. Fibroadenoma is a common noncancerous tumor that is made up of fibrous tissue of the breast. If the tumor is increasing in size, or it is immovable, or pain in the breast is not associated with menses, then it is an alarming sign.
This is a case study of multiple cysts and fibroadenomas of the breast, which were well-treated by Homeopathy and covered in less than 2 years.
Mrs. V.S. (Patient IDL: 43262), a 47-year-old homemaker, consulted at Life Force in June 2020 for her chronic complaint of fibroadenoma of the left breast and a small cyst in the right side breast. She had pain in her breast, mostly during menses and after pressing. She also had an underactive thyroid (UAT) and eczema complaints. For UAT, she was regularly taking 100 mcg of thyroid supplement and a few other conventional medicines for eczema.
A detailed case history was taken.
Physical generals:
There were no specific likes or dislikes in food. Her thirst was normal. Her bowel movement and urination were normal. Her menses were irregular, and during menses, the flow was heavy and profuse. Mostly, she had pain in her breast during menses.
Mental generals:
She was depressed and sad. Her relationship with her in-laws was stressful. She was short-tempered and expressed her anger. To express her anger, she cried mostly.
Family history: In her family history, her parents had thyroid issues. Her mother was allergic to seafood, and her father had a heart condition.
After studying the case, Dr. Shah prescribed her Silica 30, 2 doses, and his research-based molecule, and also advised a few blood tests.
Follow-ups:
In August 2020, she gave her 1st follow-up, and she didn’t notice any specific change in her condition. On that feedback, she was prescribed the next batch of medicine.
After a few months of medicines, she reported that pain by pressure and tenderness was reduced by 50%, and pain during menses was also reduced. She felt that the lump size of the right breast was reduced, but due to COVID, she was fearful to do any test (USG of the breast or mammography). So, she was advised to be regular with medicine and do the regular breast checkup.
In August 2021, she did a USG of both breasts. In the report, there was no tumor in the left breast, but multiple cysts were visible in both breasts. So, as per her reports, she was prescribed the next batch of medicine. She was regular with her medicines.
After a few months of treatment, in February 2022, she reported her good condition. She didn’t feel pain, discomfort, or any abnormality in her breast. She was very happy with her condition. She was suggested to undergo mammography or USG on priority so that we can decide on the further course of treatment.
In April 2022, she had a mammogram. In her report, there was no significant abnormality seen. There was no lump and no cysts. Her condition was recovered, so she was advised to stop the medicine. She got cured completely and was happy with the results.
Conclusion:
This case illustrates how homeopathy provides a non-invasive treatment option for cases of fibroadenoma. Homeopathy offers holistic treatment by considering both the physical and emotional aspects, addressing the hormonal imbalance contributing to the issue, and giving encouraging results in fibroadenoma. It offers long-term relief with no side effects, and the cystic changes in the breast were resolved over time.
