From Breathless to Better Asthma Relief with Homeopathy

Mrs. A.B. (Patient ID: 55025) walked to the Malleswaram clinic along with her husband on 13th July 2024. The patient was experiencing moderate wheezing, along with sneezing, a runny nose, and redness of the eyes. The patient had 20-30 bouts of sneezing per day, especially in the early morning, during the cold season, and after oily food and sweets. She also had a dry cough followed by sneezing, along with watering of the eyes and throat irritation. She had taken homeopathic treatment, but she couldn’t find any relief. But the patient’s husband was very determined, and he decided to seek help from Life Force.

The patient has had thyroid issues for 10 years, for which she is taking Thyronorm 50 mcg.

Physical Generals:

The patient is having a mixed diet with a craving for sour things, an average appetite, and moderate thirst. The patient is having good sleep, but during the episode, sleep is difficult, and the patient keeps changing positions. The patient is chilly. On examination, the tongue is coated white. The patient is underweight.

Family Background:

The patient is a homemaker, and her husband is a businessman. The son is doing an MS in America, and the daughter is also a student.

Mental Generals:

The patient is very mild, gentle, and polite. Anticipatory and anxious about the disease condition. She is very attached to family, and she keeps everything in mind and starts worrying about it.

After taking a detailed case history, we assured her that we would try our best to cure her and reassured her that she is in safe hands.

After studying the case, Shah Sir prescribed Silicea 30.

Follow-Up

On October 10th, 2024—First follow-up: the patient had a severe attack of cough, sneezing, and wheezing, which was also more severe. The patient was even admitted to the hospital. 2 months of medicine were given, and she was advised to do steam inhalation twice a day and started with a Foracort inhaler twice a day.

19th December 2024 – Second follow-up: the patient feels 30% better with fewer episodes of sneezing and dry cough, but it persists. Using the Foracort inhaler twice a day.

By April 25th, 2025—The patient is 50% better with less sneezing, the cough has gone away, and watering of eyes is absent.

Last month, the patient visited the clinic along with her husband and daughter. The patient is very happy, as she is 75% better. The patient thanked Life Force and said my problems are fewer when compared to the past year. Her weight has also improved, and the patient feels overall healthy.

The patient also gave a reference for her daughter for the same complaint.
