Drug Free Life Possible in Meniere’s Disease With Homeopathy
Meniere''''''''s disease is a chronic inner ear disorder characterized by a set of recurring symptoms that can significantly impact an individual’s quality of life. Common manifestations include vertigo, a spinning sensation, accompanied by hearing loss, tinnitus (ringing or buzzing in the ears), and a feeling of fullness or pressure in the affected ear. The cause of Meniere''''''''s disease remains unclear, but it is often associated with fluid imbalance in the inner ear. This case study shows the good improvement of Meniere’s disease with homeopathic medicine.
Mr. A.K.N. (Patient ID: 51352), a 52-year-old male, consulted online at Life Force Homeopathy for his chronic complaint of Meniere’s disease. His main symptoms were vertigo with nausea & vomiting, loss of balance on the right side, heaviness of the head, feeling of fullness of the right ear, and tinnitus. He also had 40% hearing loss in his right ear. He has been taking Nootropil C and Stablon 1-1 tablet daily since December 2022.
Apart from Meniere’s disease, he also had anxiety neurosis and high cholesterol. As per his chronology and severity of disease, he was suggested to start homeopathic treatment along with his conventional medicines. For a homeopathic prescription, a detailed case is required. So, his case history was taken by the doctor.
Physical generals:
He was non-vegetarian by diet and had a preference for spicy food and vegetables. His water intake was good, and his other general areas, like bowel movement, urination, and sleep, were all good.
Mental generals:
He had a happy, satisfied, and settled life since childhood. The patient was very confident, expressive, and anxious.
There was no specific past history. In his family, his father had renal calculi, and his grandfather had kidney problems.
Dr. Rajesh Shah studied his case, and he was prescribed homeopathic remedies based on his totality of symptoms. He was also suggested lifestyle changes, dietary modifications, or additional measures to complement the homeopathic treatment.
Follow-ups:
On 17th June 2023, the patient gave his first follow-up. He reported very good results within 2 months. His vomiting and nausea were reduced. His imbalance and heaviness of head had also improved. He was taking conventional medicine regularly. On his follow-up, he was prescribed the next medicine.
In his next follow-up in August, he was getting further improvement. He had not faced any episode of vertigo after July 2023. All his other disturbing symptoms, like imbalance, heaviness of head, etc., were improving. He was following all the instructions.
On 2nd October 2023, the patient had his follow-up. There were significant improvements in the overall symptoms of Meniere’s. But after June 2023, he faced 2 major episodes of vertigo in September 2023. As per his feedback, he was prescribed the next batch of medicine.
After a few months of medicine, in March 2024, he gave his follow-up and informed us that in the last 3–4 months, he had faced 12–14 major episodes of headache. His symptoms were triggered mainly by air travel. In the last 3 months, his air travel has increased a lot. Hence, he had started conventional medicine. Along with vertigo, he also suffered from right eye retina issues, so he had taken 3 ranibizumab injections in the last 3 months. He was prescribed Lycopodium (3 doses) with another research-based molecule for the next 2 months.
In May 2024, he reported a good response with the changed medicine. He did not experience any episode of vertigo in the last 2 months. But he continued with conventional medicine along with homeopathic medicine.
In September 2024, his condition was good. No major episode was observed in the last few months. But he also informed about his new complaints, alopecia and vitiligo, and he started homeopathic treatments for both complaints from the Life Force Center.
After a few months of medicine, in January 2025, the patient reported good results in his vertigo and imbalance condition. No major episodes were noticed in the last few months. He was regular with medicine.
Recently, in June 2025, he reported only one mild episode of vertigo on 10th June 2025. Except for this, he has not noticed any other episode since January 2025. Overall, he is doing well with homeopathic medicine.
Conclusion:
Meniere''''''''s disease is a complex condition where many people report positive outcomes with homeopathic remedies; it’s essential to consult with a qualified homeopathic professional. This case study emphasizes the holistic nature of homeopathic treatment and its potential impact on Meniere’s disease.
