A businessman finds recovery in chronic recurrent folliculitis with homeopathy

A 52-year-old male, Mr. R.S (Patient ID: 46639), visited Life Force Homeopathy, Kemp’s Corner branch, for the complaint of folliculitis. He had been suffering from it for many years. It was chronic and recurrent. It used to get better for some time and then resurface again. There were multiple small eruptions on the nape of the neck. The patient experienced itching and redness in them. There was no pain noticed by the patient. He had been applying ointments and taking allopathic medicines, but nothing was helping him much. He visited Life Force on 3rd November 2021 and started with the treatment.

The patient had an average appetite. There was no specific desire or aversion to food. His thirst was very little. There were no issues with urine and stool. His sleep was sound and refreshing.

The patient was engaged in the business of pharmaceutical products. His wife was a housewife. He had a son who was studying in school. The patient was very anxious and restless by nature. There was always stress related to his family. He often had fears about future things.

He never had any major past illnesses. His family also did not have any major illnesses.

After studying the case in detail, Dr. Shah prescribed him some research-based homeopathic medicines.

On 20th December 2021, the patient reported that he was almost 40% to 50% better with the medicines. The active eruptions were reducing gradually. The itching was less than before. The redness was also reduced compared to before. There were no new lesions noticed after starting the medicines. The patient had stopped using allopathic medicines, and he was only on homeopathy now. There was an overall improvement with the medicines.

On 21st May 2022, the patient reported that he was further better with the medicines. The active lesions were no longer present. There was very mild itching present now. No redness was noticed on the neck area. Dryness was present on the skin. There were no new eruptions after starting homeopathic medicines. The patient was very happy with the results.

On 24th August 2022, the patient updated that he was almost 80%–90% better now. The itching had completely settled. There was no redness noticed in the affected area. The dryness of the skin was also reduced. There was no recurrence of eruptions after starting homeopathy. There was no requirement to take any allopathic medicines after starting homeopathy. The patient was very happy with the progress.
