Mrs. L.K. (Patient ID: 55471), a 37-year-old homemaker, visited Life Force on August 29, 2024, for the treatment of verruca plana. These are small, flat, skin-colored or slightly darker bumps that commonly appear on the face, neck, and arms. She had been suffering from this condition since 2018. However, she had noticed a small, flat bump on her left cheek since childhood, which had never caused her any concern. After undergoing hormonal treatment during both of her pregnancies, she observed a gradual increase in the number of flat eruptions on her face. Over time, they spread to areas around both eyes, cheeks, and forehead.
Before coming to Life Force, she had tried several treatments, including laser therapy, steroid-based creams, and even homeopathy from other clinics, but none of them brought lasting relief.
When she first visited, she had about 10–12 small, painless eruptions on her face. These bumps were rough in texture and caused mild itching. There was also visible hyperpigmentation in the affected areas.
In addition to her physical symptoms, she also mentioned being easily irritated and short-tempered. She said she often felt the need for attention and care and was very conscious of her appearance. She was also worried about her health, as she had a family history of cancer and often feared developing a serious illness herself.
After carefully studying her case, Dr. Rajesh Shah prescribed Medorrhinum 200 along with other homeopathic medicines.
First follow up:
15 October 2024 - There was no improvement or any change
Second follow up
1st February 2025 - The itching had reduced, and no new eruptions appeared.
Third follow up
21st March 2025: She reported a 5–10% improvement. The existing eruptions were slightly smaller, and itching had completely stopped.
Fourth follow up
1st May 2025: There was a 90% improvement on the left side of her face. However, new eruptions appeared near her right eyebrow and on the right side of her chest. Dr. Shah reviewed her case again and prescribed Carcinosin 200, based on her emotional state and family medical history.
Fifth follow up
June 2025: After this new prescription, the new eruptions started to reduce, and no further bumps appeared. Itching had completely stopped.
Sixth followup
By the end of June, all the eruptions were no longer visible, and the hyperpigmentation had reduced by around 80%.
Since she was feeling better and there was no recurrence, Mrs. L.K. decided to stop the treatment. She was advised to report back after six months for a follow-up.
Conclusion:
This case shows how individualised homeopathic treatment helped a patient with long-standing verruca plana. Even though the condition had been present for years and had not responded well to other treatments, a carefully selected homeopathic approach brought gradual and long-term improvement.
