4-Year Battle with Migraines Ended in 8 Months via Homeopathy!
A married woman who is 41 years old (Patient ID: 50176) went to the Mulund Life Force Homeopathy clinic with complaints of severe headaches that came back every five to six years, mostly on the right side of the head, and caused by being overexerted, stressed, and exposed to strong sunlight.
During the episodes, in addition to the crippling headache, there was vomiting, nausea, and an inability to tolerate even the tiniest movement, sound, or light. Additionally, she experienced a decrease in appetite, extreme irritability, and low blood pressure at that time. Putting cold on the head helped a little.
She had been taking Tab. Betacap daily once, and Tab. Sompraz, if required SOS, has been around for the last 1.5 to 2 years. Despite taking medications, there was no relief, and episodes had become daily in the previous 2 years.
The patient stated that she had been receiving conventional treatment for primary infertility for the previous ten years. The therapy included hormonal medications and multiple IVF procedures.
The patient had suffered from tuberculosis of the lung at twelve years of age and recovered with conventional treatment. Family history showed her grandmother suffered from tuberculosis of the lung as well.
The patient had an arranged marriage 12–14 years ago and lived with her spouse and in-laws initially. Due to constant mental and physical harassment due to their inability to conceive, she and her spouse separated around 4-5 years ago. The patient took pride in mentioning that her husband had always been caring and supportive of the patient.
The patient had her tailoring work done from home, while her husband worked as an editor in Mumbai. The patient was more anxious about her conception issues and had become irritable, sensitive to slight remarks, anxious, and brooding over past unpleasant events.
Based on her case details, she was prescribed homeopathic medicines by Dr Rajesh Shah and was asked to update us after 6 weeks of taking the medicines. She was also advised on blood investigations and dietary and lifestyle changes and counseled regarding handling her stress.
Follow-ups:
Six weeks later, on the 2nd of February 2023, the patient mentioned having three episodes. The overall frequency had reduced; however, the severity was unchanged. Based on her follow-up, medicines were revised, and she was prescribed for another six weeks.
At the next follow-up on the 18th of March 2023, the patient mentioned one major episode last month, which required a conventional injectable and twice oral tablet. The pain was triggered due to overstress and exertion due to her ongoing IVF treatment. Based on her follow-up, she was prescribed homeopathic medicines by Dr. Shah.
In between, the patient had skipped our medicines for about two months, as she was undergoing IVF treatment. During the period, there were no major episodes, and she did not require any conventional medications as well.
Two to three mild episodes of pain occurred but subsided after rest. On the 15th of June 2023, the patient said there was one major episode and it subsided after a conventional tablet once. She also disclosed that they had stopped IVF treatment due to recurrent failure. Based on her follow-up, she was prescribed homeopathic medicines by Dr. Shah.
After another six weeks, on the 29th of July, the patient mentioned no major episodes of headaches and did require conventional medications. She was prescribed further and asked to update again after six weeks.
After about four months, the patient said there were no episodes. Mild pain occurs triggered by inadequate hydration during travel.
At present, the patient is stable and does not suffer from any major episodes. She has recently started her treatment for Lumbar Spondylitis with radiculopathy.
Conclusion:
This case shows the amazing healing powers of homeopathic medicines prescribed by Dr Shah, which not only cured the ailment but also reduced the sensitivity to the triggers, thereby preventing major episodes of pain and eventually eliminating the need for conventional medications.
