4 Months of Homeopathy at Life Force Helps Businesswoman Overcome Chronic Urticaria
A 43-year-old female from Mumbai, Mrs. D.S. (Patient ID: 56444), visited our clinic for the treatment of chronic and recurrent urticaria on 19th December 2024. She had been suffering from chronic urticaria for the past 8 to 9 years, but her condition had worsened over the last year. She experienced itching mostly at night, accompanied by redness and hives on the skin. These episodes lasted for 1 to 2 hours. She had to take antihistamine/anti-allergic tablets daily to control the itching. The patient also noticed that the itching intensified whenever she consumed milk or experienced heavy perspiration. During an episode, the itching would affect her entire body.
She was also suffering from diabetes mellitus and hypertension, for which she was on allopathic medications.
Her appetite was average. She had a specific craving for potatoes and milk, but she avoided milk as it triggered her urticaria. There was no particular aversion to any food. Her thirst for water was adequate. There were no issues with urination or bowel movements. Her sleep was sound and refreshing.
The patient and her husband ran their own business, which often led to work-related stress. She was short-tempered and anxious by nature.
There was no significant past medical history. No major hereditary illnesses were noted in the family.
After studying her case in detail, Dr. Shah prescribed Carcinosin 30 along with research-based homeopathic medicines. She was advised not to stop her anti-allergic tablets immediately, as sudden withdrawal could cause a flare-up. Instead, she was instructed to take both homeopathic and allopathic medicines with a 30-minute gap between them and to taper the allopathic medicines gradually. A suitable dietary plan was also recommended along with the treatment.
Follow-ups:
During her first follow-up on 30th January 2025, the patient reported a significant improvement with the medicines. The frequency of episodes had reduced. The duration of hives had shortened, and the intensity of itching and redness was much less than before. She had reduced her use of antihistamines from daily to once a week. The patient expressed great satisfaction with her recovery.
On 30th March 2025, she reported being 70–80% better with the treatment. There had been no major episodes of urticaria in the past two months. The nightly itching and redness of the skin had completely subsided. She had completely stopped all allopathic medications and was only continuing with homeopathic treatment. There was a remarkable improvement overall.
The patient expressed her gratitude to Dr. Shah and the entire LifeForce team for helping her recover and making her feel so much better in a short period with Homeopathy.
