Mr. P. V. J. P. visited our Borivali clinic on 20th May, 2012. His Patient Identification Number is 19127. He was suffering from Trigeminal Neuralgia since 5 months. He had mild and continuous pain. It was right sided. It would get triggered in the morning or by eating any hard food. He had done a brain MRI and it was normal. He had undergone a root canal in 2008. He had taken few conventional medicines in the past but it did not have any improvement.
He also had acidity since 3 – 4 years. He would feel burning in chest at night. He would avoid spicy and oily food which would trigger it. He would take home made medicines as and when required.
He liked salty and spicy food. He disliked sweets. He would feel thirsty often. He could tolerate both the extremes of temperature.
He was working as an IT head in a company. His wife was a teacher. He had a son who was studying. He was staying in a nuclear family. His father had expired and his mother was a homemaker staying with his brother.
He was fastidious and punctual in his work. He would often feel anticipatory anxiety regarding his work. He would meticulously study all the details and then finalize any thing. He had thoroughly studied Dr. Shah’s website before seeking the treatment.
He had suffered from Eczema few years back.
He had a family history of Eczema.
Dr. Shah studied his case in detail and prescribed Lycopodium Clavatum 200c 3 doses and research based medicine.
After 6 weeks on 20th June he reported with no improvement. It had been stable. Occasional he would feel some improvement. The acidity was considerably better. His case was reviewed and prescription was upgraded.
He reported on 27th July with 50% improvement in his Trigeminal Neuralgia. There was no constant pain as before and the intensity of pain had also reduced. The acidity had also improved further.
After 4 months of medication he reported on 4th September with 75% improvement in his Trigeminal Neuralgia. His pain was much reduced and it would be occasional and mild. The acidity was also better by 50%.
He reported on 30th October with a mild increase of the pain for few days which was controlled by increase of the dosage. The pain was now felt in right jaw in stead of right forehead. He would feel the pain while brushing and chewing hard food. His case was reviewed and medicines were up graded.
On 9th December he was happy to report 90% improvement in his Trigeminal Neuralgia. He would rarely feel the pain in jaw or forehead. His acidity had also been better by 70%.
