This is a case study of 8 months old boy suffering from severe Atopic Dermatitis (AD). Parents of Mast K.S. (Patient Identification Number 19198) from Hong Kong opted for online treatment at Life Force. His parents filled up the detailed information about his sufferings in the questionnaire.
This 8 months old baby was suffering from AD since last five months. The lesions started on his face, chest, abdomen, back and arms. There was severe itching, dryness and oozing of watery, transparent fluid. His parents consulted a Pediatrician and he was put on steroid creams and antihistamine syrup. He completed the course of steroids with tapering doses. On stopping the steroids, he got flare up of the disease. He got the lesions on his legs as well which were not there in the beginning. Again he was put on the steroid creams. At this stage his parents decided to opt for homeopathic treatment for a permanent cure.
There was a strong family history of Asthma. His maternal grandmother and great grandfather had suffered from Asthma.
Mast K.S would get profuse sweating on palms, soles and scalp. He could tolerate cold weather more as compared to hot weather. His developmental milestones were normal.

Itching had reduced by around forty percent. Oozing had stopped. Redness was still there. Gradually his parents stopped using steroid creams.
