There was no history of any major illness in the past. His paternal grandmother had suffered from hypertension, diabetes, and epilepsy. Apart from this, there was no history of any illness in his family.
After studying and considering his case history in detail, he was prescribed homeopathic medicines.
After four months of the treatment, there was a considerable reduction in the size of the areata patches. The patches on his beard showed 60% improvement. There were no new bald patches noticed.
Within the next 6 months of treatment, the areata spots on his chest and abdomen showed considerable changes. The patches on his beard further improved. His symptoms of acidity and acne were relieved to a great extent. The hyperpigmentation on his face also improved.
This case highlights that homeopathy is highly effective in treating alopecia areata and GERD.
