A 3-year-old girl, Ms. D.M. (PIN: 43606) started treatment online from Life Force on 29th August 2020 for her complaints of Vitiligo. The skin condition affecting her was accidentally found out by her mother. She was having hypopigmented spots on her scalp only. Small 4 to 5 spots were present. The disease was gradually spreading. In haste & out of worry, her mother started a treatment consisting of steroidal creams locally for the last 10 days.
Physical Generals:
She was born as a healthy child weighing 3.4kgs with an assisted C section delivery at full term. She was fed with mother’s milk adequately for 2 years. All her milestones were on time as per age & her immunization was done as per the schedule.
She was having a mixed diet and had an average appetite. She did not have any taste preferences. Her thirst was average. Her sleep was sound and refreshing. She happened to sweat profusely. She did not have any trouble with her bowel movements they were quite regular.
Psychological and Family Make-Up:
The child was very happy-go-lucky, a bit emotional, & sensitive. Both her parents were working. She was studying in school.
Personal and Family’s Medical History:
She had no major history of any illness. Also, there were no major illnesses in her family.
At Life Force:
After studying the case in detail, Dr. Shah prescribed some research-based homeopathic medicines for 2 months along with dietary recommendations to the patient.
Follow-Ups:
On 20th October 2020, the patient’s mother reported that she was better with the medicines by 25%. The skin with spots were improving, & no new spots had developed. She had already stopped all the steroidal creams without any increase in vitiligo due to the withdrawal symptoms. Dr. Shah prescribed her the next batch of medicines based on the feedback.
On 23rd December 2020, the patient’s mother reported that she was almost 50% better. Good improvement was observed in her condition. Re-pigmentation was observed in the spots. The spread of the disease was completely under control. Based on this feedback, Dr. Shah prescribed her further medicines for 2 months.
On 13th February 2021, the patient’s mother reported that the patient had suddenly developed multiple new patches over the scalp & the neck region without any probable trigger found. Dr. Shah made some necessary changes to the medicines & prescribed them to her.
It took a few months of the necessary changes in her diet, medicines, & other measures to bring back the vitiligo in control, &, eventually, it stopped spreading. There was a very good improvement in her vitiligo.
On 3rd May 2022, the patient’s mother happily expressed 90% improvement in her recovery from Vitiligo. Just 1 single small fading patch was present. Her happiness was beyond words to express. She is continuing the medicines in hope of complete recovery soon.

This case highlights that Homeopathy works remarkably in treating vitiligo in patients of all ages, including children of such a tender age, effectively and safely with no side effects.
