A 50-years-old female patient from Telangana, Mrs V.M. (Patient identification no - 31066) visited at Life Force Pune Branch on 22nd January 2017 for treating her complaints of Trigeminal Neuralgia. She was suffering from pain in left side of face since the last 7 years, but it increased from the past 1.5 years. Intensity of symptoms were very severe. She was suffering from electric shock like pain and for that she was on pain killer. There was tingling sensation over left side of her tongue. She was on painkiller from past 6 years, but pain remained the same.
Mrs V. M. also had complaints of hypertension from the past 1 year.
She had an average appetite. She preferred a mixed diet. There was a marked disliking for non-veg food. She was sensitive to cold.
Mrs V.M. was a teacher in school. Her husband was working as a railway technician. Her daughter was doing MS in Germany. Her son was in 8th std. She had good relations with all family members.
Her father and mother had hypertension and diabetes mellitus. Her sister had under active thyroid.
She had anemia before 7 years.
Mrs V. M. was sensitive by nature. She felt bad if someone says hurting things to her. She also had the tendency of weeping. She had a lot of stress related to work.
Dr. Shah studied her case in detail and prescribed her research based molecules for trigeminal neuralgia.
Mrs V.M. gave her first feedback over the phone on 15th March 2017. There was over all 15% percent relief in her condition. Pain over the left side of face was reduced. Intensity and frequency of pain had reduced.
She then gave feedback on 3rd June 2017. There were overall 70% improvement in her relief. Her pain had reduced a lot, and also her dependency on painkiller had reduced.
She gave feedback over the phone on 20th July 2017. Pain over the left face had reduced by 90%. Electric shock like pain had reduced a lot. Tingling over tongue had also reduced.
Mrs V.M. reported over the phone on 26th August 2017. There was overall more than 95% relief. Her discomfort due to pain and tingling had almost gone. She was on not taking any pain killer.
Conclusion:
Discomfort and pain due to Trigeminal Neuralgia can be relieved to a great extent with homeopathic treatment.
