58-years-old Mr. SLJ (PIN 30462) visited Life Force Homeopathy in November 2016 for the treatment of his asthma.
He was suffering from asthma for almost 30 years before visiting Life Force. He used to get 5-6 episodes in a year that is once in every 2-3 months. Each episode of asthma would last for 20-25 days. Each episode would start once the weather would change from hot to cold, in the rainy season after getting wet, and after eating a banana or any cold food. Each episode would begin with the running nose, sneezing, and fever and used to progress making him suffer from a cough and difficulty in breathing. He was not able to talk and climb the steps during the acute episode. He would not go for his work for at least 10 days during each acute episode. His complaints used to get aggravated at night when he had to get up in the middle of the night and sit up in order to take a breath. He had to use Rotacap inhaler, a conventional bronchodilator, almost 2-3 times in a day during each episode along with other conventional medicines in order to get a relief from his cough and difficulty in breathing. His complaints used to get aggravated in the middle of the night between 12-1 am, when lying on the back and during the inhalation of fumes of mosquito repellent or fumes of agarbatti. He used to feel better after lying on the abdomen and drinking the warm water. He was suffering from an acute episode when he visited the first time. He tried homeopathic treatment from a local homeopath for some relief.
He had a past history of piles for which he got operated. In his family, his elder brother suffered from asthma.
Mr. SLJ was a resident of Bhiwandi, and he was staying with his wife and son. He had his own textile business, and his son was helping him in his work.
He used to prefer a vegetarian diet. He had craving for spicy food, fruits, and milk. He was sensitive to extreme cold temperature.
He had an introvert personality. He always wanted perfection in his work. He had cordial relations with everyone at the workplace.
With all above-mentioned details, Dr. Shah analyzed the case in detail and prescribed Antimonium Tartaricum 30 along with research-based medicines.
In January 2017, the patient reported 50% improvement in the relief from asthma. Acute episode that he suffered in November 2016 settled in 7-8 days after starting the first batch of medicines. Relief from his cough, difficulty in breathing, and frequent cold was better by 50%. He stopped using the Rotacap inhaler after starting medicines at Life Force.
In March 2017, there was further improvement in the patient’s relief. Mr. SLJ never reported an acute episode of asthma since the treatment had started at Life Force. He no more suffered from frequent cold, cough, or difficulty in breathing. He had stopped using conventional bronchodilator completely. He was happy with the treatment, as he used to suffer from acute exacerbation once in every 2-3 months which was completely under control now. After going through the follow-up, Dr. Shah prescribed him further medicines.
In June 2017, the patient was more than happy because, even when the weather changed, he didn't suffer from any symptom of asthma. Since December 2016, he did not suffer from an acute episode of asthma. He was not sensitive to the change in weather now and had started enjoying all types of food without any restriction. He is still continuing the medicines with Life Force.
Conclusion:
Asthma is considered to be almost a life-long suffering for the most patients. With homeopathy, we can manage asthma by using mild medicines and can achieve a relatively attack-free and relaxing phase for a long time. Patients who are on homeopathic medicines enjoy much better health than the rest of the asthmatic individuals.
