A Case of 3 Years Chronic Urethral Stricture Got Relief with Homeopathy
A 28-year-old male, Mr. K. K. (PIN: 49100) visited at Life Force center on 30th August 2022 with the complaint of Urethral stricture. The patient was suffering from this complaint for 3 years. He was experiencing daily episodes of urination during which he needed to strain a lot and would suffer from incontinence. Usually, he experienced very little urine flow. He would feel that the urinary bladder was not voided fully. Rarely, he would pass bloody urine after intense straining. The daily frequency of urination was normal. He would experience pain in the penis after straining for urination. He had not taken any treatment. He also had the feeling of loss of confidence while doing intercourse and, sometimes, would feel pain in his penis and testes.
Physical Generals:
The patient was following a mixed type of diet He was a non-vegetarian and he liked spicy foods. The patient had no specific aversion to any particular food. His thirst was normal. His stools were satisfactory. His perspiration was normal and generalized. His sleep was normal.
Psychological Generals:
The patient was a software professional. He was a native of Andra Pradesh. His mother was a homemaker. The patient was well-settled in Bangalore for the last 5 years. The patient’s father was hypertensive.
At Life Force:
After studying her case in detail, Dr. Shah prescribed his research-based molecule along with constitutional medicines to the patient.
Follow-Up Details:
At the first follow-up after following homeopathic treatment for 2 months, when he gave his first follow-up on 28th October 2022, there was no significant improvement in his condition. He was very calm and understanding considering that some chronic conditions show response after continuous medications.
By the next follow-up on 26th January 2023, when he gave his feedback, he informed us that, the symptoms had reduced. The straining for the urination had reduced. He felt that the emptying of the urinary bladder had improved. Overall, the patient was 40% to 50% better.
A few months later, on 26th July 2023, the patient gave feedback. She informed us that no episode of Urinary urgency had occurred and no straining was needed to pass the urine.
