A Patient of a Very Difficult Lichen Planus Healed with Homeopathy at Life Force

Lichen Planus (LP) is a chronic inflammatory and immune-mediated disease that affects the skin, nails, hair, and mucous membranes. Lichen planus appears as purplish, itchy, flat-topped bumps. On mucous membranes, such as in the mouth, it forms lacy, white patches, sometimes with painful sores. The exact cause of lichen planus is unknown. However, the condition isn't infectious and doesn't usually run in families. It can't be passed on to other people, including sexual partners.

Fortunately, you have homeopathy to treat the condition effectively. Here’s a case of lichen planus treated with homeopathy successfully.

Mrs. J. G. D. (PIN: 5845) walked into the Chembur Clinic of Life Force Homeopathy on 17th May 2017 with anxiety about her skin disease. She had no major stress. She was working as a lab technician at Mulund Hospital. In the past, she was under our treatment for Lichen planus from 2003 to 2007. Now, she had lesions on her ankle, feet dorsal, and both hands. She had only hyperpigmentation with dryness and thickness with severe itching from the last month. She was not having any other associated disease.

At Life Force Homeopathy, a detailed case-taking was done and Dr. Rajesh Shah prescribed medication after studying the case in detail. The blood investigation was done and certain dietic changes were advised.

Follow-Ups:

At the follow-up on 4th August 2017, the patient’s relief was better in itching. The color had faded in some spots slightly.

Later, on the follow-up on 5th February 2018, the patient had no spread of the disease. She had itching occasionally. Only hyperpigmentation was remaining. She had no other complaints.

At the follow-up on 1st March 2019, the patient had no active lesion. She was concerned about hyperpigmentation. Her lesions were stable.

When she came for a follow-up on 13th December 2019, her skin condition was improving. Feet’s relief from dorsal scaling was better. Active lesions were getting flattened.

At the follow-up on 10th February 2020, her lesions were stable. Hyperpigmentation was as it is.

At the follow-up on 17th September 2021, there was a 15% further improvement in the recovery from hyperpigmentation. No active lesions were there.

At the follow-up on 21st September 2022, the patient’s recovery from the lichen planus was better. No spread of the disease was there. No itching was present, and the spots on the ankle were fainter.

At the follow-up on 11th January 2023, the patient’s healing had further improved. She had no itching. Also, no new lesions appeared.

The patient was very happy. Now, she has started treatment for her mother for Psoriasis under Life Force.

Conclusion:

This case highlights that Homeopathy at Life Force gives relief to very difficult cases of chronic lichen planus by reducing the symptoms and controlling the progression of the disease.
