Oral lichen Planus (OLP) is a chronic inflammatory condition that affects the mucous membranes inside your mouth. It's considered a type of lichen planus, which can also affect the skin, genitalia, and nails.Oral lichen Planus typically presents with white, lacy patches or sores on the inside of the cheeks, gums, tongue, or other areas within the oral cavity. These lesions may be painful or cause a burning sensation or sensation of roughness in the lining of the mouth, particularly when eating or drinking acidic or spicy foods.

The exact cause of oral lichen Planus is not known, but it is believed to be related to an autoimmune response. In some cases, it may be triggered by certain medications, dental materials, or other factors. Some drugs often induce it. Stress is also a major trigger factor.Oral lichen Planus is a chronic condition, and, while it can often be managed effectively with treatment, it may come and go over time. We, at Life Force, have worked on Lichen Planus for over two decades, and have been able to treat most cases with success using homeopathy, which is individualized, effective, and very safe. Let’s see a similar case in detail.
