Case Study
A 32-year-old female (PIN: 45265), a pilot, visited Life Force Homeopathy on 30th April 2022 for the treatment of Lichen Planus, which she had suffered since July 2020.
Chief Complaints
The main concern of the patient was itching and the hyperpigmented patch. It had started with the foot and then spread upwards gradually. Multiple purplish, raised eruptions had appeared on both the hands, legs, abdomen, genitals one patch, both buttocks, back, and legs. Severe itching was present more at night with burning.
The disease was slowly progressive, and all lesions were active.
Past History
The patient had taken steroids orally and had followed the local steroid application for 2 years.She had suffered from no other disease, and no surgery was done.
Family History
No history of any skin disease or autoimmune disease was present.At Life Force Homeopathy, a detailed case-taking was done, and Dr Rajesh Shah prescribed medication to the patient. A blood investigation was done and some vitamin deficiency was found. Dr Shah advised vitamin supplements, dietary correction, and certain changes in the daily routine of the patient.
Follow-Ups
On 23rd July 202, the patient had no new lesion. There was no spread of the lesion. Also, there were no discharges from the eruption. Only mild itching was present.
On 1st February 2022, the eruptions were stable. The itching had reduced. There was no change in hyper-pigmentated marks.
Later, on 26th May 2022, the patient was 75% better. Only hyperpigmentation was remaining. No itching was present.
On 6th July 2022, no spread of the disease was there. She had no burning and no itching. Her old patches’ pigmentation was fainter.
The patient was a lot satisfied and continued the treatment.
Conclusion
