Relapsed Lichen Planus Patient Achieves 90% Relief in 6 Months with Homeopathy
This case showcases how homeopathy successfully managed a 65-year-old female with lichen planus relapse after 10 years of stability. Presenting with new itchy lesions and hyperpigmentation, she received constitutional homeopathic treatment. Within six months, the disease stabilized, itching subsided, and new eruptions stopped, demonstrating homeopathy’s ability to provide safe, effective, and long-term relief in chronic lichen planus.
A 65-year-old female, Mrs. R. U. (Patient ID: 16664), approached life force homeopathy for her Lichen planus issue in June 2011 and stopped medication by April 2015. She was very stable and asymptomatic and had no issues with Lichen planus for the next 10 years plus. Again recently, in September 2024, there were relapses, causing new active lesions in hands and legs. She immediately approached the nearby Life Force Homeopathy branch in Bangalore for the treatment restart.
Know about Lichen planus
Lichen planus is a rare, long-lasting skin condition that affects about 1-2% of the population. It causes small, itchy, purplish bumps on the skin that can be flat or raised. Lichen planus can also affect the mouth and genital areas, causing painful sores. The exact cause is unknown, but it is thought to be related to the immune system and can be triggered by factors like stress, genetics, or certain medications. Diagnosis involves a physical exam and skin biopsy. Homeopathy can provide long-term relief for patients. While there is no cure for lichen planus, it can be effectively managed with proper medical care and ongoing monitoring through homeopathy.
