A 50-year-old working professional, Mr. A.K.A. (PIN: 34192) suffering from severe Urticaria & Angioedema (i.e. urticaria involving lips, tongue, and other such areas) since one & a half years visited Life Force Pimpri Clinic for the treatment. He was experiencing erythematous weals anywhere on the body, involving eyelids & lips too.
He had another form of urticarial positive presentation known as Dermatographism, where a scratch over the skin will develop a swelling over the trail mark.
He had taken steroidal medicines in the past &, currently, was under antihistamines.
He was allergic to various food substances, such as ladyfinger, green peas, banana, milk, wheat, Rawa, whole egg, moong dal, legume mix, ginger, and many other foods, which showed the severity & diversity of the complaints.
The patient was fed up with his complaints a lot. He had to resort to Antihistamines every night at bedtime.
Dr. Rajesh Shah, M.D, studied the case thoroughly & prescribed the highly advanced, research-based Homeopathic molecules for a period of six weeks to the patient.
First follow up
Within three months of the treatment, at his second follow-up visit, he had started experiencing 20%-25% relief in his urticaria.
Second follow up
His subsequent follow-ups showed variable results with periods of relief & aggravations.
Third follow up
By the end of 10 months of the treatment in the month of September 2018, the patient came up with 75% relief in his Urticaria & seemed very happy & optimistic about the treatment. Now, he needed to take antihistamines hardly once a week.
Fourth follow up
By the end of one year of the treatment, the patient had experienced 90% relief in his Urticaria & now he could eat all the food he liked to eat, except for milk, which was the only trigger of Urticaria affecting him.
The patient was happy with the treatment & the results he experienced so far & opted to continue the treatment for some more time to get rid of this Urticaria completely.
Conclusion:
This case highlights that homeopathy is highly effective in treating urticaria significantly and safely without any side effects.
