A 40-year-old female patient, Mrs. P.N. (PIN: 26521) approached the Life Force online on 21st August 2015 with the complaint of trigeminal neuralgia (right-sided) which she was suffering from 19 years. She used to suffer from severe pain which was quite frequent. Her pain used to increase while brushing, touching the face, & eating. She was taking conventional medicine but didn’t get any satisfactory result. Besides trigeminal neuralgia, she was also suffering from a migraine.
She was a vegetarian by diet. Her appetite was average, but, due to the severe pain, she was unable to consume enough food from one and a half months. She was very fond of sweets, sour and spicy food. She had no specific disliking for any food. Her thirst was more than usual. She was comfortable in all weathers. She used to experience profuse perspiration, particularly on her forehead. Her motion was not satisfactory, & her urine was normal. Her sleep was sound.
There was no major illness in her past and in her family medical history too.
She was a homemaker and very short-tempered by nature. She expressed her anger violently. There was no stress in her life. She had a good relationship with all family members.
After going through her detailed case history, a research-based molecule was prescribed to the patient for her complaint.
During her first follow-up in the month of October 2015, she reported a 25% improvement in her relief from the pain. Initially, her pain was very severe, and she was not even able to talk. And, she was advised to continue the same medicine.
When the patient gave her follow-up on 14th February 2016, she informed 75% improvement in her recovery from the intense pain. The frequency and severity of her pain had reduced significantly.
She reported over the phone on 9th June 2016 that there was 80% improvement in her condition. But, she developed a new complaint of a headache. So, Dr. Shah revised her medicines.
In the month of March 2017, when she gave her follow-up, her pain was under control. Electric shock-like the pain was reduced by more than 85%, but a dull pain was present. Her relief from the other complaints was better.
Later, when she gave her next feedback on 30th July 2018, her condition had improved by 90%. Doses of her allopathic medicine were also reduced significantly. She was comfortable in eating and talking. Her relief from her discomfort of the headache was also 95% improved. The patient was very happy and satisfied with the treatment.

This case highlights that homeopathic medicines can provide significant relief from Trigeminal Neuralgia effectively and safely without any side-effects.
