A 32-year-old male patient, Mr. S. W. (PIN: 45193) visited Life Force Homeopathy for the treatment of his complaints of spondylitis. He had cervical and lumbar spondylosis for the last 1 year. It started with pain and discomfort in the neck and, later, it kept increasing. The patient had to take painkillers 2-3 times a week when the pain was very severe. He visited Life Force on 15th April 2021 and started with the homeopathic treatment.
Physical Generals
The patient had an average appetite. He had no specific desire or aversion to any food. His thirst was adequate. The patient had no issues related to urine and stool. His sleep was disturbed often due to pain.
Psychological and Family Make-Up
The patient was working as a cleaner in the government office. His wife was also working with him. He was very reserved and introverted. He often had stress related to work.
Self and Family’s Medical History
He never had any major illnesses in the past. There were no major illnesses present in his family’s medical history.
At Life Force
After studying the case in detail, Dr. Shah prescribed some research-based homeopathic medicines to the patient. He was also advised certain diet and exercise to follow along with the medicines.
Follow-Ups
On 28th May 2021, the patient reported that there was around 10% improvement with the medicines. The pain and stiffness had reduced a little more than before. He was taking painkillers once in 15 days which initially he had to take 2-3 times a week. Overall, there was a gradual change in homeopathic medicines. Some calcium and vitamin tablets along with the medicines were prescribed to him.
On 2nd July 2021, the patient reported that he was better, but, suddenly, in the last 1 week, the pain increased again. On further evaluation, it was found that there was some exertion at work and after that, the pain started increasing. Based on this feedback, revised medicines were prescribed to the patient.
On 20th September 2021, the patient reported that he was almost 40% to 50% better with the medicines. The pain and stiffness were reduced a lot. He had stopped taking painkillers, and he was only on homeopathic medicines now. There was an overall improvement in the medicines.
On 10th February 2022, the patient updated being 70% to 80% better. The pain was very minimal. His stiffness was a lot reduced than before. The patient was very happy with the results. He had stopped all medicines and now he was only on homeopathy.
