Pain and Stiffness of Cervical and Lumbar Spondylosis Remarkably Reduced with Homeopathy
A 32-year-old male, Mr. S.W. (Patient ID: 45193), visited Life Force Homeopathy’s Kemp’s Corner clinic with complaints of Cervical Spondylosis and Lumbar Spondylosis, which he had been suffering from for the past one year.
His condition began with pain and discomfort in the neck, which gradually increased over time. The pain started radiating to both shoulders and arms. He also experienced pain and stiffness in the lower back. Due to the severity of his symptoms, he found it difficult to perform his day-to-day activities. He had to take painkillers 2–3 times a week when the pain became intense.
He visited Life Force on 15th April 2021 and began treatment of cervical spondylosis and lumbar spondylosis under the guidance of Dr. Rajesh Shah.
Case Details & Patient Profile:
The patient had an average appetite with no specific food cravings or aversions. His thirst was adequate. There were no issues with urine or bowel movements. However, his sleep was often disturbed due to pain.
He was working as a cleaner in a government office, and his wife worked at the same place. He was reserved and introverted by nature. He often experienced work-related stress and had difficulty making decisions.
There was no significant past medical history, and no major illnesses were reported in his family.
After a detailed case analysis, Dr. Shah prescribed individualized, research-based homeopathic medicines. Along with medication, the patient was advised to follow a suitable diet and exercise regimen.
Follow-Ups & Progress
First Follow-Up: 28th May 2021
The patient reported around 10% improvement. The pain and stiffness in the neck and back had slightly reduced. Pain in the arms had also decreased.
He was now able to manage his daily activities better. The frequency of painkiller usage reduced significantly—from 2–3 times a week to once every 15 days.
Based on his progress, medicines were adjusted, and supportive supplements like calcium and vitamins were prescribed.
Second Follow-Up: 2nd July 2021
The patient initially experienced further improvement; however, he reported a sudden increase in pain after a week.
On evaluation, it was found that the aggravation was due to physical exertion at work. Accordingly, his medicines were revised, and he was advised rest and to avoid overexertion.
Third Follow-Up: 20th September 2021
The patient reported 40–50% improvement. The pain in the neck and back had reduced significantly, and stiffness was also better.
He no longer required painkillers and had stopped all conventional medications. He continued only with homeopathic treatment.
Final Follow-Up: 10th February 2022
The patient reported 70–80% overall improvement.
Neck and back pain were minimal
Stiffness was significantly reduced
No pain in shoulders and arms
Able to perform daily activities comfortably
He was satisfied with the progress and continued only with homeopathic medicines.
