A 34-year-old male, registered in 2023 (Patient ID: 52888), has been suffering from allergic rhinitis since 2017. During attacks, he experienced mild throat irritation, frequent sneezing, and profuse watery nasal discharge. These episodes were sometimes accompanied by headache, redness and watering of the eyes, nasal blockage (especially on the left side at night), and occasional wheezing. Each attack occurred about 5-6 times per month and typically lasted for 2-3 days. The symptoms, such as nasal congestion, throat irritation, lacrimation, and eye redness, often preceded the onset of an attack. He was taking Tab. Montek LC (Levocetirizine (5mg) + Montelukast (10mg) OD once in 4 days since 2018.
His case was studied in detail, and as per the case, Dr.Rajesh Shah conducted investigations and & prescribed the medicines individually specific to him.
Follow-Ups
First follow Up
On 28th November 2023, the first follow-up was taken. He was overall 5-10% better in his complaints. The throat irritation, sneezing, and redness of eyes were reduced compared to before; the nose block was still the same, and the frequency of lachrymation was also reduced.
Second Follow Up:- On 10th Jan 2024, the complaints were 15% better, redness of eyes, nose block, and headache got relieved somewhat. The sneezing and runny nose were the same. He had an episode of cold and cough a week back after taking cold drinks, and had taken antibiotics for 5 days.
Third Follow Up
On 23rd February 2024, there was a 40-50% improvement, everything was getting better than before, except sneezing, which was still the same.
Fourth Follow Up
On 9th April 2024, there was 60-70% relief except morning sneezing and alternate day nose blockage.
Fifth Follow Up
On 18th May 2024, 80% improvement was seen in his ailments, morning sneezing reduced, and also the nose block has been reduced further.
Sixth Follow Up
On 29th June 2024, the patient was better overall by 80-90%, morning sneezing and nose block reduced by 80-90%.
Last Follow Up
Overall, the patient was stable, no major episodes noted, he has not used any anti-histamine medicine for more than 6 months.

The above case shows the effectiveness of homeopathic medicine in the treatment of allergic rhinitis.
