A 35-years-old male patient, Mr. A.S.P. (PIN: 34909) was registered with Life Force for Hepatitis B with Chronic Liver Disease and Mallory-Weiss Syndrome on 22nd Dec 2017.
Throwing some little light on Mallory Weiss Syndrome.
What is Mallory-Weiss Syndrome?
Mallory-Weiss syndrome is a condition marked by a tear in the inner lining, where the esophagus meets the stomach. It can occur because of various causes, most common being severe vomiting and chronic alcohol consumption. The symptoms of this condition are a pain in the abdomen, vomiting up blood, and black or bloody stools.
The complaints of the patient started in October 2016 with a sudden episode of fever with chills and one episode of blood in stools. His HB level and platelet count were low. The patient was hospitalized and a blood transfusion was given.
When the patient visited Life Force, he was asymptomatic. The patient was also a known case of Diabetes, and his blood sugar levels were not under control.
Based on his past medical history and his investigations, Dr. Shah prescribed him medicines for 6 weeks.
For many follow-ups, the patient was SQ stable without any changes in his investigations.
When the patient gave his follow-up on 27th July 2018, there was a remarkable improvement in his condition.
Investigations on 10.06.2017
- HBV DNA: 10.06.2017: 2990 (high)
Investigations on 5.6.2018

This case highlights that homeopathy is quite effective in treating Hepatitis B with Chronic Liver Disease and Mallory-Weiss Syndrome successfully and safely without any side-effects.
