A 6-year-old girl from Haryana, Ms. I. S. (PIN: 44034) started Life Force’s homeopathic treatment through the online protocol for her complaint of Urticaria on 31st October 2020.
She was suffering from this skin complaint for a year. Initially, it was affecting her once a month, but, from the past 2 to 3 days, the rashes had started appearing daily. The child was experiencing intense itching and hives on her hands, legs, back, and abdomen. The swelling of limbs was also present. She was experiencing a burning sensation in the body. The rashes used to stay for 2 to 3 hours and would settle after taking anti-histamine. She was prescribed steroids the last year when the episode was very severe. She was also taking allopathic medicines for her recurrent cold and cough problem.
Physical Generals:
The child had an average appetite. She had no desire or aversion to any specific food. Her thirst for water was adequate. She had no issues related to the urine and stool. Her sleep was sound and refreshing. Her birth was normal and without any complications.
Psychological and Family Make-Up:
The patient was mildly autistic. Her mother was a housewife, and her father was doing a job. By nature, she was often irritable and restless. She used to throw things in anger.
Self and Family’s Medical History:
The patient had not suffered from any other major illness in the past. No major illnesses were noticed in her family.
At Life Force:
After studying the case in detail, Dr. Shah prescribed some research-based homeopathic medicines to the patient.
First follow up
On 30th December 2020, at the first follow-up, the patient’s mother updated that she was completely fine with the medicines. There was no episode of Urticaria affecting her after starting with the homeopathic medicines. She was not given any antihistamine, and the child was only on homeopathic medicines. She had experienced an overall recovery with the medicines.
Second follow up
On 11th February 2021, the patient’s mother updated that the child had experienced a mild episode of urticaria before a few days, but the intensity was very less than before. The intensity of the itching and hives had reduced. She took antihistamine only for a day and it had subsided. She was overall recovering with homeopathic medicines. The patient was completely better with the medicines.
Third follow up
On 1st April 2021, the patient’s mother reported that she was completely fine. She had no major episode of Urticaria after starting with our homeopathic medicines. The child healed with the medicines.
The patient’s mother thanked Dr. Shah and the whole Life Force team for treating her daughter and improving her health.
Conclusion:
This case illustrates that homeopathy can heal children with urticaria successfully and safely without any side effects.
