This is a case of 13 years old Miss R. H. (Patient Identification Number is 13150)

She reported one year ago for treatment. She was suffering from urticaria since three to four months. She was taking cetrezine without relief. The cetrezine would make her drowsy the whole day, and her parents were against giving any allopathic medicines continuously for so long to such a young girl. So they were searching for alternatives.

A relative suggested them to consult Dr Rajesh Shah. She came along with her parents to the center.
Her case history was studied in detail.
She used to get hives all over her body. There was continuous itching.

She was a student of eight standard. She was a very bright student, but the disease had started affecting her studies, as she could not concentrate due to the hives and itching. She would get hives for four to five times in a day and they would last for 20-30 minutes. Taking an antihistamine caused excessive drowsiness.

She was a reserved individual. She was a single child; both her parents were working.
She was short tempered by nature, she was a pampered child.

Her father was calm and her mother was dominating by nature. She feared her mother.
She would be with her maternal grandparents the whole day and would come home in the late evening, once her parents were home.

She hated being pressurized. She was a fearsome person; she had fear of darkness, fear of strangers, fear of animals and insects, lizards.

She was more attached to her father. She slept well, but dreams were always fearful. She had a craving for milk, milk products and chocolates

She was very fussy about vegetables and fruits. She was intolerant to summer. She liked being in the AC and air cooler.

Her hobbies were drawing, painting, watching comedy serials on the television.
She wanted to become an artist. She did not like mathematics.

Dr Rajesh Shah studied her case in detail and prescribed calcarea -phosphorus 200 for her.
The patient was explained to gradually taper the dose of the anti-histamine. But she just stopped taking conventional medicine after starting homeopathy.

First follow up

After starting her treatment, she only suffered with urticaria for 3-4 weeks, gradually the intensity and frequency reduced. By six weeks she was free of urticaria.

Second follow up

In last one year, she has never suffered from urticaria. She does follow for some other minor complaints such as acne, but urticaria is fully cured.

Third follow up

She has gained confidence, her performance in studies has improved and her fears have also gone down.

Thus, there has been good over all improvement in all aspects, with homeopathy.
