Mr. S.P. (Patient ID: 49227) was suffering from dark purplish, round lesions on his body and also white lacy lesions in his mouth. Distressed with it, he decided to start with allopathic treatment. He was treated with steroidal medication. Mr. S.P. wanted a better and safer treatment for his disease, which was diagnosed as lichen planus by the dermatologist. He was petrified and just wanted to get rid of the disease as soon as possible. He was given T. Methotrexate, Beclovax lotion, and Esavasone lotion by the dermatologist, which he had been using for 2-3 months. He was stable when he visited the Chembur clinic of Life Force Homeopathy on 12th Sept 2022. Mr. S.P. had eruptions on the legs, hands, abdomen, groin, and mouth. The eruptions on the skin came with minimal itching and minimal discomfort while eating food.
Mr. S.P. had always lived a stressful life stress of family, stress about his brother, and financial stress. His father was a farmer who had suffered losses due to the floods that year. His brother had studied M. Tech but was jobless, so the constant stress about finances and the well-being of family members might have triggered this autoimmune disorder. In the next few follow-ups, he recovered about 90-95%, with no new lesions and no flare-ups for the 6-7 months. He is continuing the treatment to avoid relapse or recurrence of the lesions.
