A 37-year-old male patient (Patient ID: 49906) from Sector-9 CBD Belapur visited Life Force Homoeopathy clinic at Vashi on 26 Nov 2022. The patient was having Allergic Rhinitis and was suffering from 6–7 bouts of sneezing at a single time, watery discharge from the nose, nasal blockage during the episode, lachrymation, redness of the eyes, throat irritation, and headache only in the winter. The complaints got aggravated usually in the morning, in winters, after taking cold food items and with direct exposure to AC. For the same complaints, the patient had taken Tab. Prulastin (Montelukast and Bilastine) 1 tab daily SOS in 2021.
The patient was also having diabetes mellitus for 1 year and had been taking anti-diabetic medicine daily for the last 7 months. The patient was also having hypertension since 1 year and was on anti-hypertensive medicine. The patient was also suffering from hypercholesterolemia since 3 months.Regarding the patient’s personal information, he was having average meals including both veg and non-veg, and had aversion for cauliflower, cabbage and sweets.
He had an addiction to alcohol which he took socially. The patient was having excessive thirst for 4 litres/day and excessive perspiration, with no complaints of bowel movements and micturition. The life profile of the patient seemed quite happy and well supported. At work, he was doing a private job in a finance company. The mental sphere of the patient was mild, gentle, clever, and polite, but at the same time he was non-communicative and reserved.
On examination the weight of the patient was 87 kg, BP 130/90 mmHg and pulse rate 82/min.
According to the patient’s complaints and totality, Dr. Shah prescribed the medication with his expertise in the field of homeopathy.During his first follow-up on 18 Jan 2023, he was 60% better. The frequency and intensity of episodes had reduced a lot, and the patient had not been taking any conventional medicine for 6 weeks.
