A 31-year-old male (PIN: 38859) visited Life Force clinic on 15th December 2018 for the treatment of his complaints of Urticaria.
The patient was suffering from severe urticaria since 2018. There were papular erythematous rashes all over his body. He was experiencing an intense itching and swelling of lips and around his eyes. The patient was allergic to dust, mites, tomatoes, capsicum, chikoo, dates, curd, coffee, and crabs. His complaints used to get aggravated due to heat and get ameliorated by cold. He used to take a Tablet. Omnacortil 5 mg twice a day to relieve his complaints.
The patient had a strong family history of allergies.
The patient was a non-vegetarian by diet. He had cravings for spicy food and sweets. He did not perspire much.
The patient was an Engineer by profession. He had a stressful work profile and was always hurried and worried. The patient was helpful by nature.
First follow up
After six weeks of homeopathic treatment, the patient had experienced a reduction in the intensity and frequency of urticaria.
Second follow up
After 3 months of homeopathic treatment, the patient reported that he had stopped taking steroids (Tab. Omnacortil) completely.
Third follow up
The patient was 100% better after 4 months of homeopathic treatment. He had reported that he had not experienced any episode of urticaria.
The patient was very happy with the treatment, as he could stop steroids completely.
Conclusion:
This case illustrates that homeopathy gives wonderful results in short periods without the help of conventional medicines. Homeopathy has a good scope in treating allergic complaints effectively.
