Master V.C.(Patient ID: 49987), a bright and observant young boy, visited the Life Force Pimpri branch with his parents on 3rd December 2022 for the management of childhood asthma, which had first begun in 2019.
At the time of consultation, he presented with recurrent episodes of dry cough, coryza, occasional chest tightness, breathlessness on exertion (even while speaking), wheezing, mild fever, and weakness during acute episodes. His symptoms were typically aggravated by exposure to cold air and relieved by warm drinks or sitting in a warm environment. On average, he experienced one episode per month, each lasting approximately 4–5 days.
He was receiving conventional treatment, specifically Levolin 50 mcg (Levosalbutamol) 4 puffs, four times daily during episodes since September 2022. There was also a past history of pneumonitis and a positive family history of allergic rhinitis on the maternal side.
Physical Generals

Follow-Up Progress
On 14th January 2023, during his first follow-up, his mother reported a reduction in the intensity of his symptoms.At the second follow-up on 28th February 2023, two episodes were reported with cough, coryza, fever, and breathlessness. However, the duration had significantly reduced to 2 days, and he required Budecort 100 mcg only twice over two months.
By 11th May 2023, there was further improvement—only one mild episode in two months, with no need for conventional medication.From 27th June to 21st November 2023, V.C. remained clinically stable.
