A 29-year-old female from Mumbai, Ms. V.P. (PIN: 30800) started homeopathic treatment from Life Force on 9th January 2017 for her complaint of Urticaria.
She was facing this problem from the past 6 months. The rash of urticaria was present on her whole body. She was experiencing intense itching and redness of the skin during the episode. She used to get episodes of rashes almost every day. Stress used to trigger her complaint of urticaria. Also, she used to develop rashes after eating nuts and colored food. The patient was taking an antihistamine to control the rash. She had to take it almost every day.
She had an average appetite. She loved eating non-vegetarian food in her diet. She had a strong disliking for vegetables of any kind. Her water intake was also less. She used to drink around one-liter of water per day.
She was staying with her parents. She was experiencing stress related to work always. She was a very polite and ambitious lady. She had a sensitive nature and used to get offended easily
There were no other major illnesses present in her past. Her mother was suffering from Asthma and Thyroid disorders.
After studying the case in detail, Dr. Shah prescribed her some research-based homeopathic medicines.
First follow up
On 23rd March 2017, the patient reported that her condition is as it is. There was no major change as such with the medicines. She was still experiencing the episodes of urticaria every now and then, and she had to take anti-histamine for it. On the basis of this feedback, Dr. Shah prescribed further medicines to the patient.
Second folllow up
On 7th October 2017, she updated the feedback that she was almost 40% better with the medicines. The frequency of her episodes of urticaria had reduced. The itching was also less as compared to earlier. The redness and eruptions were reducing in intensity. She was overall better with the medicines.
Third follow up
On 24th January 2018, her relief from the complaints was 60% better. She was experiencing the episodes only when she used to eat outside food. The intensity and frequency of her episodes had drastically reduced. She was not taking antihistamine now that, initially, she had to take every day. She was getting better with the medicines.
Fourth follow up
On 22nd June 2018, she updated being almost 80% to 90% better. The episodes of urticaria were reduced a lot. Even if she was getting episodes of urticaria, their intensity was very less. Redness, itching, and rashes were hardly present. She totally stopped antihistamine medicines. She was very happy and satisfied with the treatment.

This case illustrates that homeopathy is highly effective in treating urticaria successfully and safely without any side-effects.
