Homeopathic care helped a physician overcome recurrent urticaria episodes safely
A 44 year old homeopathic physician developed acute urticaria with hives every few days, depending on antihistamines for short term relief. Already under Life Force care, he opted for a safer long term approach. A detailed review of diet, physical traits, emotional stress, responsibilities and family history guided Dr Shah to prescribe individualized research based medicines. Follow ups showed reduced frequency without tablets, and later complete absence of hives for months, improving confidence and daily comfort.
Dr. A. M. V., a 44-year-old homeopathic physician (Patient Identification Number - 14582), visited our clinic on 18th September, 2012. He was already under treatment of Dr. Shah for other complaints. He had now visited for Urticaria, which had been troubling him for 1 month. He would get hives once every 3 – 4 days, which would subside with antihistaminic tablets. He was not able to identify any triggering factor for these rashes.
He was a vegetarian by diet. He liked all sweet, salty, and spicy food. His thirst was excessive. He would perspire profusely. He was sensitive to warm temperatures.
He worked for an oil company as a preventive health officer. His wife was a general practitioner. He had a 4-year-old son. His father had passed away a few years back. He was responsible for settling his 3 younger brothers.
He had a strict childhood as his father was strict and authoritative. He had now become irresolute for a year. He would rarely get angry. He would remain sad and depressed due to this responsibility.
There was a strong family history of cancer in paternal family members. His father had suffered from high blood pressure, heart disease, and Parkinson's disease.
His case was studied, and accordingly, a few research-based medicines were prescribed by Dr. Shah.
After 2 months, he visited on 22nd November and reported 30% improvement. He used to get rashes once every 5–6 days, and they would subside without the need to take cetirizine.
On 22nd January, he visited and reported 100% improvement in his Urticaria. He did not get hives in the last 2 months.
He is still continuing the medicines for some other ailments.
