A 36-years-old businessman, Mr. A.P (PIN 27663) visited Chembur branch of Life Force on 08/01/16 and narrated his case history. He was suffering from urticaria since August 2015.
He used to get red, raised, circular patches all over the body, particularly on his back and around his waist. Usually, the rash used to last for about 12 hours. And, he was taking anti-histamines on a daily basis. In fact, in the past too, he had taken anti-histamines along with steroids for about 3 months without any relief.
Along with urticaria, he also had cicatricial alopecia areata due to follicular lichen planus since 2012. It was occurring due to Lichen plano pilaris form which he suffered in 2008, according to the histopathology reports. He had multiple patches scattered all over the scalp for which he had taken multiple steroids from 2011 to 2014.
In addition to this, he also had left-sided trapezius musculitis since 5-6 years. His X-ray of cervical spine showed mild reduction in C5-C6 disc space, and he was on Vitamin D and Vitamin B12 supplements.
He also suffered from Acid peptic disease since 5-6 years for which he took antacids on daily basis since 5-6 years.
He also had sinusitis accompanied with a lot of sneezing and post nasal drip. His CT scan was suggestive of DNS with mild mucosal hypertrophy for which he took conventional medicines as and when required.
He also had hyperlipidemia since December 2015 for which he was under allopathic medications.
He was vegetarian by diet. His appetite was low, and he loved to eat spicy food. He was physically average. He thirst was very low and he had average perspiration.
He was a businessman by profession and owned a finance company. His wife was a homemaker. His parents used to reside with him for 6 months and, for the next 6 months, with his elder brother in Canada. He has no children so he used to keep on traveling.
He was very confident by nature, and he liked to take part in debates. He used to pinpoint when somebody was found doing wrong and he always used to speak up. He was social. He used to spend a relaxed life, socialising more, and he was argumentative.
First follow-up
on 23/02/16, there was no improvement in his complaints.
Second follow up
On 10th of April, 2016, the patient gave online follow-up in which his relief from urticaria and alopecia was better.
Third follow up
In Jan 2017, he had further improvement with no episode of urticaria in the last 5-6 months.
Fourth follow up
In his last follow-up on 06/11/17, he was feeling much better with respect to all his complaints. His alopecia also improved significantly. He is further continuing treatment with Life Force for further improvement
Conclusion:
Homeopathy gives prominent, highly effective, and positive results in case of diseases, such as urticaria and alopecia areata, where conventional treatment can’t give relief beyond certain extent.
