A 53-year-old female patient, Mrs. R.S. (PIN: 43133) visited Life Force Homeopathy with complaints of Psoriasis on 27th May 2020.She has had Psoriasis since 2019. The skin eruptions were present on both her legs and had spread to the thighs and hands. The skin eruptions appeared along with itching, scaling, redness, and hyperpigmentation.
Physical Generals
She was a vegetarian and had cravings for spicy food. She had a habit of tobacco chewing.
Psychological and Family Make-Up
The patient was a housewife. By nature, she was reserved. She had suppressed anger as she was dominated by her son. She had stress due to in-laws at home.
Medical History
She had a history of hysterectomy which she had undergone 10 years back due to large uterine fibroids.
At Life Force
After a detailed case study and analysis, Dr. Shah prescribed research-based medicines for Psoriasis to the patient.
She was asked to avoid gluten and milk and milk products.
Follow-Ups
At the first follow-up on 11th July 2020, the patient said that there was a reduction in the itching and scaling. Hyperpigmentation was still as it is.
On 19th August 2020, the patient said that there was a 60% improvement in her relief. Her skin eruptions had reduced. Also, the itching, scaling, redness, and hyperpigmentation had reduced.
On 1st October 2020, the patient reported new eruptions developed on the legs. The dryness and itching had also increased due to the winter season.
On 8th November 2020, the patient mentioned that there was not much relief from the new eruptions and a few more eruptions had appeared on her legs.
On 8th December 2020, the patient was still not better with the new eruptions.
In January 2021, there was not much relief from new eruptions on her legs, but the eruptions on her thighs and hands had completely healed.
In March 2021 and May 2021, the active lesions on the legs of the patient were stable while other lesions had healed.
On the follow-up on 29th June 2021, she reported relief in all her eruptions with only slight dryness and itching over her left ankle.
On 11th August 2021, the patient again had a relapse in the old healed eruptions on her legs. The dryness and itching had increased.
On 24th September 2021, she reported that there was not much relief from the dryness and itching.
On 13th November 2021, the patient reported having relief in the dryness and itching.
In the next follow-ups in January, March, and April 2022, the patient reported a further reduction in the eruptions. She also experienced fading of hyperpigmentation.
The patient is very happy with the treatment she received at Life Force and is continuing the treatment for experiencing a full recovery from psoriasis.
