Rebuilding Balance: How a Civil Engineer Overcame Meniere’s Disease with homeopathy
Mr. V.K.V. (Patient ID: 50264), a 36-year-old civil engineer working in a government role involving frequent city transfers every 2-3 years, consulted Life Force Homeopathy telephonically in January 2023 for the treatment of Meniere’s Disease, which he had been suffering from since 2019.He initially developed symptoms following a suspected middle ear infection in 2019, after which he experienced remission from 2020 to early 2021, but unfortunately relapsed in January 2021, with symptoms persisting chronically thereafter.
At the time of consultation, his primary symptoms included left-sided tinnitus (present throughout the day), aural fullness, and dizziness and vertigo, particularly intense in the morning hours after waking up, lasting 1–2 hours. He also reported occasional imbalance, especially on sudden movement, along with mild headaches, nausea, and occasional vomiting. Interestingly, he had no hearing loss, but symptoms worsened in cold weather and during seasonal changes.
He had tried multiple conventional treatments including Cinnarizine (Stugeron Forte), antibiotics (Levofloxacin), and antiemetics (Promethazine, Domperidone), but achieved only temporary relief. Additionally, he had been on homeopathic treatment elsewhere for a year with no significant progress.
Physically, he was a chilly patient, vegetarian, with cravings for sweet and spicy foods, and an aversion to sour tastes. He had sound sleep, no urinary or bowel complaints, and no current medication dependency. He came from a supportive family environment, although adulthood brought mild financial stress due to job transfers and career demands.
His family history included diabetes and hypertension in parents, and he had a past episode of renal calculus, managed through Ayurvedic treatment.
Based on the totality of symptoms and his emotional and physical constitution, Dr. Rajesh Shah prescribed Chininum sulphuricum with other homeopathic medicines.

Conclusion:
In this case Mr. V.K.V. showed consistent, steady, and remarkable recovery, achieving complete stability by late 2024 which demonstrates how classical homeopathy, when prescribed on the basis of individual symptom totality and general constitution, can offer sustained relief and improve the quality of life in patients suffering from chronic vestibular conditions such as Meniere’s Disease.
