Patient from Jaipur recovers from oral Lichen Planus with Homeopathy

A 66-year-old female from Jaipur, Mrs. U.B (Patient Identification number: 53476) started online homeopathic treatment on the month of 13th January 2024, for the complaint of oral Lichen Planus.  
She has been suffering from it for 2 years. Her son had cardiac issues, and the patient was under too much stress due to it, after which she developed this problem. There were white patches and cuts on her tongue and the inner side of her cheeks. She was complaining about continued burning in her mouth. Burning was very severe and intense in his mouth whenever she us to take spicy food. The patient has been applying steroid ointment for the past 8 months. Burning was under control with it, but she had stopped using it for 5 days. The patient was informed that there would be withdrawal symptoms upon stopping steroids, and she may feel an increase in her complaints.
The patient was also suffering from an underactive thyroid, for which she was taking thyroid supplements. She also had hypertension and high cholesterol levels, which were under control with allopathic medicines. 
Her appetite was good, but she was not able to eat much due to burning. There was no specific desire to eat food. Her thirst for water was average. There were no issues with urine and stool. Sleep was sound and refreshing. 
The patient was a school teacher but retired in the last 5-6 years. Her husband was in defense but has now retired. She had one son and a daughter who were staying abroad. She was happy with her life. There was no major stress present, but she often got stressed easily. The patient was also sensitive and emotional by nature.
After studying the case in detail, Dr.Shah prescribed her some research-based homeopathic medicines along with some dietary advice. She was also informed regarding the side effects of steroids and withdrawal effects.
On 31st January 2024, the patient reported that her burning and lesions had increased. It was explained to the patient that, as explained earlier, these are the withdrawal effects of steroids used in the past. Counseled her and advised her to continue her medicines. 
On 23rd February 2024, the patient reported that there was mild improvement with the medicines. The lesions were still present but the burning was a little less than before. The patient had stopped all allopathic medicines and she was only on Homeopathy now. Based on this feedback, further medicines were prescribed to the patient. 
On 6th June 2024, the patient reported that she was feeling 30-40% better with the medicines. The burning was less than before. The white patches in the mouth were not visible now. She was able to eat normal food with little spice. There was overall progress with the medicines. 
On 8th November 2024, the patient updated that she was much better with her complaints. The burning was very little now. The patient can eat and drink normal food. She was overall better with the medicines.
