Pain and stiffness of cervical and lumbar spondylosis remarkably reduced with Homeopathy

A 32-year-old male, Mr. S.W. (Patient ID: 45193), visited Life Force Homeopathy’s Kemp’s Corner branch for the complaint of cervical and lumbar spondylosis. He had cervical and lumbar spondylosis for the last 1 year. It started with pain and discomfort in the neck, and later it kept increasing. The pain used to travel from both shoulders and arms. There was also pain and stiffness in the lower back. The patient was not able to do his day-to-day activities because of pain. He had to take painkillers 2-3 times a week when the pain was very severe. He visited Life Force on 15th April 2021 and started with the treatment.  

The patient had an average appetite. There was no specific desire or aversion for food. His thirst was adequate. There were no issues with urine and stool. Sleep was often disturbed due to pain. 

The patient was working as a cleaner in a government office. His wife was also working with him. He was very reserved and introverted by nature. There was often stress related to work. He was often confused and unable to make decisions. 

He never had any major past illnesses. There were no major illnesses noticed in the family.

After studying the case in detail, Dr.Shah prescribed him some research-based homeopathic medicines. He was also advised to follow a certain diet and exercise regimen along with medicines. 

Follow-ups:

On 28th May 2021, the patient reported that there was around 10% improvement with the medicines. The pain and stiffness in the neck and back were reduced a little compared to before. He was feeling less pain in his arms. The patient was able to manage his day-to-day activities now. He was taking painkillers once every 15 days, which initially he had to take 2-3 times a week. Overall, there was a gradual change in medicines. He was prescribed some calcium and vitamin tablets, along with the medicines.

On 2nd July 2021, the patient reported that he was further better with the medicines, but all of a sudden, the pain increased again after one week. On further evaluation, it was found that there was some exertion at work, and after that, the pain started increasing. Based on this feedback, revised medicines were prescribed to the patient. He was advised to rest for a few days and avoid overexertion. 

On 20th September 2021, the patient reported that he is almost 40-50% better with the medicines. The pain in the neck and back was better than before. The stiffness has also reduced now. There was no requirement to take any painkillers. He had stopped taking on allopathic medicines, and he was only on homeopathic medicines now. There was an overall improvement with the medicines. 

On 10th February 2022, the patient updated that he is almost 70-80% better now. The pain in the neck and back was very minimal. Stiffness was very much reduced compared to before. There was no pain in the shoulders and arms. He was able to do his day-to-day activities without any major issues. The patient was very happy with the results. He had stopped all medicines, and now he was only on homeopathy.
