Once Dependent on Antacids Now Travels Freely and Eats Outside Without Gastritis
Gastritis was defined as the inflammation of the inner lining of the stomach. This could be caused by various reasons, and the condition has become rampant with the stressful and modernized life of today.
A software developer working with Wipro visited the Life Force Homeopathy Thane branch (Patient ID: 53172) for the treatment of gastritis, from which she had been suffering for 4 years. Her disease was progressing, due to which she avoided going out for a vacation, as outside food increased her suffering; she had pricking pain in the left pelvic groin region daily 3 to 6 times for 2 months, and it lasted for 30 to 60 minutes, mostly after eating. She also had regurgitation of mucus daily 3 to 4 times for 2 months; simultaneously, irritation in the throat with a dry cough persisted. She also complained of bloating in the abdomen, flatulence, loud belching, and constipation—stool consistency was soft, but straining was required. A frequent urge to pass stool was present. She also experienced a headache and dull pain on the forehead, sometimes on the left and sometimes on the right side of the head. Bloating was more in the morning and while lying down and was better after eating a banana and curd. She was on homeopathic medication for 2 years. The pain in the abdomen, regurgitation, and bloating in the abdomen—these symptoms were intense and recurrent, often leading to a dependency on Digene syrup. All symptoms were triggered after her father went missing/committed suicide in 2020.
Family History: Her mother had acidity, and her mother’s father had cancer of the large intestine.
Investigation:
Endoscopy (23.10.23): mild antral gastritis.
CT scan abdomen (07.11.20): few subcentimeter-sized mesenteric lymph nodes. No ascites.
USG (05.11.20): Inflammatory pathology of the distal descending colon and sigmoid colon.
Mental generals:
She was mostly depressed and irritated because she did not have any friends, and only her mother would accompany her everywhere. She was introverted and shy by nature.
At Life Force Homeopathy, the case was studied by Dr. Rajesh Shah, and medication was prescribed to address the underlying factors contributing to the condition.
Follow-ups:
By 20.01.24: She was 20% better; she had reduced pelvic pain, experienced bloating once every 2 weeks, and belched on alternate days.
On 25.05.24: She mentioned 60% better; no eructation, mild bloating, minimal pain, no constipation, and loud burping only after eating outside food.
By 13.07.24: Symptoms slightly relapsed; bloating and eructation increased. Bloating was worse at night, even with early meals. As per the case, needed medicines were revised.
On 17.08.24: Minimal improvement was seen; she suffered from persistent bloating and retrosternal burning in the evenings, so she started taking Digene daily. Her case was re-evaluated, since there were no major positive changes, and revised medicines were prescribed.
05.11.24: She was improving with revised medicines, was able to eat Diwali sweets without experiencing any major symptoms, and also the dependency on Digene was reduced; she was taking it once in 2 weeks rather than taking it daily.
By 29.03.25: She was 80% better in all her complaints.
On 10.05.25: She mentioned an overall 90% improvement in all her gastritis complaints. She experienced mild retrosternal burning but was able to tolerate outside food during the Kashmir trip with no trouble.
Conclusion:
The patient showed consistent improvement with Life Force Homeopathic treatment. Dependency on antacids was significantly reduced; she started going on vacation and eating outside food, and quality-of-life enhancement was achieved.
