Homeopathy Reduced Six Years of Inhaler Dependency in Asthma
Asthma is a respiratory disorder that is caused by inflammation around the airways, which causes difficulty in breathing. Mrs. A.R., sixty-eight-year-old retired clerical government staff, along with her husband, visited the Life Force Homeopathy Thane branch on 04.07.24 (Patient ID 54933) to seek treatment for chronic asthma, from which she had suffered for six years. Intensity gradually increased for 2 years; recent 10-day episodes were more.
After COVID-19 infection intensity had increased, symptoms were of dry cough around 5 to 8 continuous bouts, and her sleep would get disturbed due to coughing. Dry cough was worse when sleeping on the right side, at night, when exposed to cold air, and better by drinking warm water. Had sneezing in 3 to 6 continuous bouts, a total of 20 to 25 episodes, which were more at night along with the pain in the right nostril. Associate disease:
1) GERD for 6 years, had burning in the throat with a dry cough half an hour after eating food along with constipation with hard stool requiring straining, passing once. She was stable with Tab Omez D 1 tab BD & Syp Insta Raft (Calcium Carbonate) 1 tsp TDS.
2) Underactive thyroid—since 25 years, Tab Eltroxin 100 mcg, 1 tablet OD
3) Cardiomyopathy since 2012; Angioplasty done was on cap. Dilzem CD ER 90 mg (diltiazem 90 ng) 1 OD since 1 year Tab aztolet (atorvastatin 10 mg, clopidogrel 75 mg) 1 OD since 1 year.
4) Diabetes—since 25 years stable with injection Mixtard-50 HM penfill 40 IU 14-14- subcutaneous since 1 year Tab zoryl M T (glimepiride 4 mg, metformin hydrochloride 500 mg, 1 tab OD since 1 year) and Tab zoryl 2 mg (glimepiride 2 mg, 1 tab OD since 1 year).
Family History: Mother had asthma, father had a recurrent cough, and sister had cancer.
Physical generals: She was thin and tall, had less appetite, thirst was less (drinks 1.5 liters/day), thermals were chilly, and a hysterectomy was done. She does yoga, mainly breathing daily, and follows a diet.

18/12/24 The fourth follow-up patient had significantly improved; dry cough is much better, breathlessness improved, sneezing significantly improved, wheezing and heaviness in the chest is much better, and reduced foracort inhaler takes once/month. The patient is remarkably better and continuing Life Force Homeopathy medication.
