Mr. R.Y., a thirty-five-year-old male (Patient ID: 49501), visited the LifeForce Homeopathy Chembur clinic in October 2022 to treat Chronic sinusitis.
The patient had been experiencing sinusitis symptoms since 2019, with the condition being moderately severe and slowly progressive.
The patient''s chief complaints included daily nose blockage, particularly pronounced in the mornings, lasting 1-2 hours. He experienced thick white nasal discharge and periodic sneezing episodes, occurring 1-2 times per week. Associated complaints included lachrymation—watery eyes, especially in the mornings—difficulty in breathing, and headaches particularly aggravated by mobile phone use. The frequency of symptoms was almost daily.
Before visiting Life Force, the patient had undergone conventional treatment. An MRI brain scan dated August 24th, 2022, showed normal results, and a paranasal sinus X-ray (water view) taken on October 26th, 2023, detected no abnormality.
His daily routine included a 20-30 minute morning walk and following a structured diet pattern with regular meal timings.
Associated with his primary complaint, the patient had been suffering from Irritable bowel syndrome since 2022. The condition showed slow progression and was of moderate intensity.
The patient was a vegetarian with an average appetite, an aversion to spicy food, and a craving for sweets. Predominantly hot in thermal reaction. His perspiration was profuse and generalized. His thirst was moderate, with an intake of about 3 liters daily. His sleep was sound, and he preferred sleeping on his left side and abdomen.
The patient worked as an MR at Gracious Company and lived with his spouse and two children - a daughter in seventh standard and a son in fourth standard.
The patient presented as a mild, clever, shy, and gentle person. He showed general confidence but lacked it during performance situations. In recent months he had seen an increase in anger, which he was trying to control. He displayed good memory, logic, and intelligence.
Family history revealed his father suffered from hypertension.
Past history showed no significant illnesses or surgeries.
Dr. Rajesh Shah studied the case in detail and prescribed Silicea 30c based on the totality of symptoms.
First follow-up:
During the first follow-up in November 2022, the patient experienced a significant reduction in nose block, occurring only 1-2 times per week. Breathing had notably improved, and coryza had diminished. The overall condition showed a mild but encouraging improvement.
Second follow-up:
By the next follow-ups in January and February 2023, the patient's progress continued. The symptom severity was further reduced, with the nose block now limited to morning hours. The frequency of sneezing had also decreased, indicating the treatment's effectiveness in managing the patient's respiratory symptoms.
Third follow-up:
From May to August 2023, the patient reported a mixed progression. While sneezing with thick mucus discharge persisted and headaches were still triggered by mobile screen use, the breathing difficulty was showing consistent improvement, and the nose block had reduced to 2-3 times weekly by the end of August 2023, indicating a gradual improvement in the patient's condition.
Fourth follow-up:
In October 2023 the patient reported a decreased frequency of all complaints with nasal block and sneezing episodes 1-2 times per week, however, the headaches due to mobile screen persisted.
Fifth follow-up:
From November 2023 to January 2024, there was a substantial improvement with the frequency of nose block and sneezing reduced to 2-3 times a month, and the intensity of the headaches also improved.
Sixth follow-up:
From February to August 2024 the patient showed progressive improvement with reduced intensity and frequency of all symptoms, headache episodes also reduced to 1-2 times per month, and reported about 50 % improvement since the start of treatment.
Seventh follow-up:
From September to December 2024, significant improvement was reported with no major episodes of nose block or sneezing frequency, duration and intensity of headaches also reduced significantly with headaches not 1-2 times per month and lasting for about an hour.
Final follow-up:
The final follow-up in March 2025 showcased the remarkable progress. The patient had achieved a 60-70% improvement in the overall condition. While occasional lachrymation and eye itching persisted, and mild headaches continued, the symptoms were significantly more manageable. Sneezing was now primarily triggered by dust exposure, a marked improvement from the initial presentation.
Through consistent homeopathic treatment at Life Force, the patient experienced substantial relief from chronic sinusitis. The holistic approach addressed not just physical symptoms but also considered environmental and lifestyle factors, demonstrating the comprehensive nature of homeopathic intervention.
The patient continues under our care at Life Force Homeopathy to achieve further resolution of remaining symptoms and sustain long-term wellness.
