Life Force Homeopathy Treatment Plan:
After a detailed case-taking process, which included an in-depth understanding of her physical and emotional symptoms, Mrs. KB was prescribed a constitutional homeopathic remedy after careful analysis of her symptoms and overall health condition. Dr Rajesh Shah''s remedy selected was
Medorrhinum 30—a remedy known to treat urinary tract infections with burning pain during urination, urgency, and frequent desire to urinate, with little relief. The other components of her case, including her anxiety, tendency to be very sensitive to pain, and frustration due to
recurrent health issues, aligned well with this remedy. In addition to the constitutional remedy, lifestyle and dietary advice was provided to maintain the limited daily fluid intake as she was diagnosed with CKD. Also, she was advised to avoid holding urine for long periods of time.
To avoid caffeine and acidic foods, which could irritate the bladder. And to practice regular pelvic floor
exercises.
Treatment Outcome:
1st Follow-Up (10.09.24): Mrs. KB reported a noticeable reduction in the frequency and intensity of UTI symptoms. The burning sensation during urination had significantly decreased, and she no longer had the persistent urge to urinate. The frequency of urination had also normalized. She was advised to continue the remedy.
2nd Follow-Up (08/11/24): By the third month of treatment, Mrs. KB''s condition had significantly improved. She had not experienced any further episodes of UTI. She mentioned feeling more energetic and had also stopped her regular use of Phenazopyridine, which she had
previously relied on for symptom relief.
3rd Follow-Up (25/12/24): Four months into treatment, Mrs. KB was delighted to report that she had remained symptom-free, and her general health had improved overall. The episodes of recurrent UTI had completely stopped, and she had no new symptoms. She also mentioned that
her anxiety levels had reduced, and she was able to enjoy her daily routine without the constant fear of a urinary infection returning.
4th Follow-Up (05/02/25) 80% better, no episodes in 5 months, and antibiotics taken.
At her eight-month follow-up, Mrs. KB expressed her happiness at being UTI-free for over a year, which had not occurred in many years prior to starting homeopathic treatment. She had stopped her long-term antibiotic use and felt more confident in her body’s ability to stay
healthy without the aid of pharmaceutical intervention. Her blood pressure and CKD were well-controlled, and she reported feeling more
relaxed overall.
Conclusion:
This case study highlights the success of Life Force Homeopathy in treating recurrent urinary tract infections in an elderly patient, who had previously relied on conventional medication and was resistant to many antibiotics with limited success. By focusing on Mrs. KB’s
constitutional state and addressing the underlying susceptibility to infections, homeopathic remedies were able to provide lasting relief from her recurrent UTI symptoms and improve her overall well-being.
