After a further 2 months of treatment on 12.12.2021, he was 50% better, and good improvement was seen as early morning vomiting reduced. But his reflux was still not going completely. His case was reviewed, and medicines were changed by Dr. Shah.
After another 3 months of medication on 29.01.2022, his complaints got aggravated due to Covid infection. So, after careful observation of his symptoms, we had to give him medications considering his COVID infection.
On 09.04.2022, all complaints were better by 80%, and he had symptoms only once daily, post-lunch, 5 to minutes with mild reflux.
He gave the last follow-up for GERD on 09.07.2022, & he was completely stable without any symptoms.
Conclusion:
This case study illustrates that within a very short span of 8 months, the long-standing illness of GERD recovered completely. Also, proper case analysis and individualized homeopathic treatment are highly effective for GERD caused by faulty dietary habits and sedentary lifestyles—and a disciplined approach to lifestyle and diet aids in faster recovery. The patient’s health improved holistically, beyond just GERD management. The treatment addressed the root cause of GERD rather than providing symptomatic relief alone that too without causing dependency, unlike antacids, and not causing any side effects.
