Behavioral and Speech Improvement in a Child with Autism Through Long-Term Homeopathic Intervention
A young boy, age 7 years ( Patient ID:52143 ), had an online consultation at Life Force Clinic in August 2023. The presenting complaints included an inability to concentrate, significant hyperactivity, and speech-related issues. He was not able to speak properly, often mispronounced words, and did not initiate speech on his own. The patient was described as very restless and tended to jump frequently, unable to sit quietly in one place for long periods. There were considerable concerns regarding his overall recovery, particularly due to poor eye contact and frequent episodes of screaming when he became angry or frustrated.
In addition, he exhibited aggressive behaviors such as biting people around him and throwing objects without warning. At an earlier stage, he even had a habit of banging his head against the wall during episodes of agitation or emotional outbursts. One of his repetitive behaviors included constantly turning the keys of his toy, which he would focus on for extended periods. He also showed a persistent lack of concentration, struggling to focus on one task at a time, which impacted his ability to engage meaningfully with his surroundings.
The child also lacked control over his bladder. Whenever he felt the urge to urinate, he would often pass urine before reaching the washroom, indicating poor bladder regulation. Additionally, signs of acrophobia were evident — for instance, if someone attempted to play with him by throwing him into the air and catching him (a common playful activity), he would become extremely panicked and frightened. Socially, he was withdrawn; he did not enjoy playing with other children, had no friends, and preferred to sit at home, playing alone. His speech development was noticeably delayed, and his restlessness remained a prominent concern, as he could not remain seated quietly for extended periods. Taking into consideration the child''s mental and physical symptoms along with past, family, and vaccination history, Dr shah prescribed research-based medicines to the child.
Follow-ups:
After 2 months, around 20% improvement was noted. There was a reduction in aggressiveness, less frequent head banging, and noticeably better bladder control.
After 4 months: His restlessness, destructive behavior, and concentration levels showed mild but consistent improvement.
After eight months, eye contact began to improve gradually. Slight progress was observed in his speech, with increased attempts to form words.
After 12 months: A significant milestone was achieved — over 60-70 % improvement was noted across all presenting complaints. His behavior had become more manageable, and emotional outbursts had reduced.
After 15 months, the patient had completely stopped having screaming tantrums. His speech had improved further, with clearer pronunciation and better articulation of words. He also showed increased engagement with those around him.
The patient is continuing treatment at Life Force Clinic and is showing ongoing positive results. His overall development, both behavioral and communicative, has been encouraging. Continued support and regular follow-ups are being maintained to ensure sustained progress in the months ahead.
Conclusion:
This case demonstrates the value of consistent, long-term, and individualized therapeutic intervention in addressing complex behavioral and developmental issues in children. The child exhibited marked improvements in speech clarity, emotional regulation, social behavior, and physical control.
