Past Medical History
Surgery: Right hemithyroidectomy (2022) for papillary carcinoma of the thyroid.
Histopathology: Confirmed papillary carcinoma, tumor abutting inked margin.
Medication: On Eltroxin/Thyronorm since surgery. Dose had been increasing gradually, starting with 25 mcg, increased to 50 mcg, then 100 mcg. By 2024, on 88 + 25 mcg daily, later adjusted between 88 and 100 mcg.

First Consultation (Feb–April 2024)
Chief concerns: extreme skin dryness, hair fall, swelling around the eyes, brittle nails, and mood swings.
Started on customized homeopathic constitutional treatment by Dr. Rajesh Shah, aiming to balance thyroid function and improve overall vitality.
Reported improvement in skin dryness and hair fall (reduced from 200 to 100 strands/day).
Follow-Up (May 2024): Stress and a recent marriage led to mood fluctuations and a relapse. Continued on homeopathy alongside allopathy.
Follow-Up (July 2024): Swelling around the eyes has reduced significantly. Hair fall remained (100/day), but TSH dropped (0.649).
Allopathic dose tapered from 100 mcg to 88 mcg.
Follow-Up (Sept 2024): Acne flare-up with increased hair fall (200–400 strands/day). Swelling around the eyes lasted only half an hour (earlier 1 hour). Menses remained regular.
Follow-Up (Oct 2024) Major milestone: Swelling around the eyes completely disappeared. Dryness persisted, hair fall 200/day, and mild menstrual delay was noted. TSH remained stable, patient on 88 mcg Thyronorm.
Follow-Up (Dec 2024): The patient experienced weakness, mood fluctuations, and dryness. TSH levels (0.528) showed stabilization compared to previous dips.
Based on homeopathic response and biochemical reports, thyronorm dose was reduced again to 88 mcg daily.
Conclusion:
This case highlights how Life Force Homeopathy complemented allopathic management in a complex thyroid case with a surgical history. Despite hemithyroidectomy and rising dependency on synthetic thyroxine, the patient experienced remarkable symptomatic relief and dose tapering of allopathic medicine
