A 19-year-old boy from Tamil Nadu, Mr. Y.G (PIN: 26785) started online treatment from Life Force on 16th September 2015 for his complaints of vitiligo.
The patient’s mother gave a detailed history online. The parents of the patient had noticed the spots on his body 5 days back, and they directly contacted Life Force for the treatment. He had developed white spots on his upper side of the back and neck. The size of the spots was very small. There were no other complaints affecting the patient, apart from these white spots on the body.
The patient had an average appetite. He used to love to eat meat in his diet. His thirst for water was average. His perspiration had a strong smell from his perspiration. There were no issues with regards to his urine and stool. His sleep was normal and refreshing.
There were no major illnesses in the family history. He did not suffer from any other major illnesses in the past. After studying the case in detail, Dr. Shah prescribed him some research-based homeopathic medicines. Some dietary advice and recommendations were also given to the patient. The patient was also advised to do some blood investigations.
First follow up
After 6 months of the treatment on 10th March 2016, the parents of the patient reported that he was doing well with the treatment. The white spots were still present on his body, but there was no spread of the disease. The spots were as it is. No new spots were noticed after starting with the treatment. He was overall stable with the medicines. There was a new complaint of acne affecting him from a few days and that was not present earlier. Further medicines were prescribed by Dr. Shah according to the feedback. Also, he was also advised to start with vitamin supplements as his levels of vitamins were low in the reports.
Second follow up
After 1 year if the treatment on 21st September 2016, the patient and his parents reported that he was gradually improving with the medicines. The white spots on his skin were gradually showing color changes, and they were becoming re-pigmented. No new spots were noticed since he started with the homeopathic treatment. The re-pigmentation in old spots was observed from the center of the spots. The parents of the patient were very happy with the treatment.
Third follow up
On 25th April 2017, the patient reported being further better. He was almost 50% to 60% better with the medicines. The old spots had gained colored almost by 50% to 60%. No new spots were noticed by the patient.
Fourth follow up
After two years of the homeopathic treatment on 17th October 2017, the patient reported being stable. No further improvement was observed. His spots were not improving further. No new spots were noticed by the patient. He was overall stable with the medicines.
Fifth follow up
On 2nd March 2018, the patient reported being almost 70% to 80% better with the vitiligo. His spots were almost re-pigmented to 70% to 80% then. His spots were almost getting filled up by the skin color. The patient and his parents were very happy and satisfied with the treatment.
Sixth follow up
On 24th September 2018, after almost 3 years of the treatment, patient progress was 95% better. His white spots were almost covered with the skin color, and no more white spots were observed on his body. He had completely recovered from vitiligo. All his spots had almost faded by now.
The patient and his family were very thankful to Dr. Shah and the whole Life Force team for treating him completely and without any side-effects.
Conclusion:
This case highlights that homeopathy is highly effective in treating vitiligo successfully and safely without any side-effects.
